Any update on this?
Wow 3 years, you waited quite patiently for an update lol.

Don't think there will be one, his last activity was in 2008, i am sure he has moved on seeing he didn't need this site anymore.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I honestly don't think this is anyone's fault. LDR's just don't work. It's completely unrealistic to think someone is just going to not have sex for many months at a time. It's not fair to you, it's not fair to the other person and it's completely unrealistic. People at that age should be fvcking regularly, not waiting 4 months in between getting laid.

In case for whatever reason this thread doesn't go back to the death it might belong. LDR's dont work. Unless, they are not exclusive relationships. I dont just mean sex either. Just dating too. I did this with a girl and it was one of the most fun enjoyable "relationships' I ever had. We would compare notes about dates and sex, laugh, have deep conversation, and tell each other we loved each other. We enjoyed it so much after a while we decided we were all we wanted and we would try something deeper. And, almost instantly it imploded in a horrible and painful way.

This is what I learned: Even if the LDR has 2 of the most wonderful, mature, perfect individuals and the relationship is incredible perfect....It still sucks horribly. Cause the better it gets, the greater the distance feels. So the better it gets, the more it hurts. By that very design, you are hitting critical mass and terminal velocity every day. And it sucks. And, it blows up hard. Stupid.

In the end I lost a great friend, a decent human being, and possibly the best plate I could have ever wanted. Which is exactly were both of us should have left it plate status.
