I have never been someone who wanted to date multiple women at the same time.
The reason is that I always like one the best and prefer to be with that one. I can't develop much with more than one girl at once.
However, it seems that these days it's easy come, easy go. Girls don't seem to have any loyalty anymore, even if you have sex with them. It used to be that if a girl "liked" you (which you'd normally hear from a friend), you could do no wrong for about a whole a month, at least. You could literally make every blunder and it didn't matter. Back then, if she kissed you it meant something, and if you had sex, she would almost always get attached. Nowadays, if she hasn't had sex with you in the last 24 hours, or if she cancels one date, or even if she leaves your bedroom in a huff, you have to assume she might be gone forever.
Even if you have multiple girls in your life, I find that once one relationship goes south, they often all fall like dominos. Then you'll have a slump, and you have to work to improve, and then you'll have several options all appear at once again. This is like picking up the last domino after they fell and having the inertia of lifting the whole pile.
Also, I've never been able to play the jealousy game very effectively. It seems to backfire a lot. It works early on, but then I either piss them off talking about other women or I have no other women and develop oneitis. So that's a crappy situation also.
How do you cope with dating multiple women at once?
