Are all these guys fake?
Nearly all well-known Red Pillers are neurotic, infantile, frantic, insecure, middle-aged madmen who are late to the party and clean up Chad’s leftovers.

RP madmen give no differentiation. They don’t consider responsible women who were abandoned, abused, or widowed, as opposed to those who made poor sexual decisions.

I would differentiate between a single mom feminist hoe with delusional entitlement vs a recent divorcee in her 30s or 40s with leftover kids who knows her value. While I'd never date either of them, but I can sort of understand it especially if the man has a kid too. Plus, if she has kids you can have a lot of leverage over her because her value is innately much lower.

That isn't really the problem here. Judgmental jerks are everywhere, spouting their unasked for opinions.

The problem is that OP (or anyone really) is surprised by the hypocrisy of many PUA going LTR with a single mom while telling everyone that single moms are trash. Someone expects honesty and integrity from a snake oil salesman. Dumbass.

There's nothing wrong with dating single parents, but not all single parents are the same. For many men, just being a single mom is a sign of stupidity and impulsivity. I could tell them their arguments have feet of clay, but that falls on deaf ears here.

I mean, having sex without protection and getting pregnant at 18 from a boyfriend whom you don't really know is stupid and impulsive. Which majority of them do

It depends. I'm focusing my answer on longer term dating and that's limits the analysis. There's a different way to analyze the situations short term casual (and probably non-exclusive) vs. a longer term exclusive committed relationship.

For me, I'm a childless male. I have no interest in raising another man's children with a woman. I don't want to use any of my resources, including my time, on offspring that aren't my own.

Single moms have more complications than childless women. There's a clash in lifestyles too.

I don't tend to evaluate the reasons why a woman is a single mom. I find that a difficult exercise. I acknowledge that there are women who would have somewhat valid reasons for being a single mom. Her husband dying accidently or of a terminal illness would be reasons that wouldn't reflect poorly on her. Leaving a physically/emotionally abusive man is a good idea but likely not going to reflect as well on her because she chose to get into a relationship with him and have kids with him. The same would be true of a woman with an alcoholic or drug addict in her past. More of the failed relationships with kids in the picture are two people without physical abuse, substance abuse, or an unplanned death in the picture. It's two people that drifted apart due to the passage of time. The initial choice to commit to that person is often questionable.

At this point in my time, no one in my dating pool has adult children. Older men tend to deal with women with children 18+. Even that's not a fun thing to deal with for the older man. Adult children often have financial problems and might need to move home at some point as adults. Imagine being a 65 year old guy dating a similarly aged woman and having her 22-30 year old child needing to move home due to layoff or not being able to get a job upon getting a degree. This happens all the time and older daters rarely consider it.

The calculations are a bit different for men with children in dating women with children. Merging two sets of children under 18 isn't pleasant and neither is merging 2 sets of adult children for the 55+ daters.

The louder someone yells something, the more likely it is to distract you from looking at them doing it.

Almost like they are trying to ensure you could never believe it by them saying it over and over again as loud as possible.

Then don’t raise the kid lol
I've been successfully avoiding single moms and I'm in my early 40s. That's an achievement.

I think it would be difficult for most guys dating a single mom in a longer term committed way not to be involved with the child in some way. It's inevitable to spend time with her kid at some point. That's a bit of a downer.

I've perceived that dating is complicated enough without kids under 18 in the picture.

If you are dating just to fvck around, I don't see how the woman having a kid would matter. Most single moms aren't going around looking for a future dad for their kids unless the guy is putting up a beta male provider vibe upfront. The only thing that matters in this situation is she hot and does she have a vagina.

I disagree. It's inevitable that dating a single mom would involve spending time around her children. That's additional, undesirable baggage for childless men. Men with children from previous relationships are often more accepting of that but even they aren't that excited to spend time with her previous relationship children.

It gets more difficult to arrange to spend time with a single mom because of her additional time constraints due to having a child. In a committed relationship, that is really annoying.

It's additional baggage that can be avoided by only interacting with childless women.

If you set the standards upfront and you meet the type of single mom's just looking to mess around, this shouldn't be a problem. However, if you are playing the hope strategy and wasting a woman's time then yes I can see this being an issue later down the road. In addition, if you are dating to look for a girlfriend- potential wife, then I completely understand your POV.

If you set up the type of relationship I am talking about then you shouldn't be seeing your girl every day or frequently, so I think this works better in your favor.

I tend to look more for girlfriends as a serial monogamist more so than short term sex. Short term, often uncommitted sex with single moms can be a good option for a man who is looking for casual options and possibly wanting to run a rotation of 2+ women.

In my ideal relationship, I would be seeing a woman a few days a week, but have a few days a week to myself. One of my friends had this setup with his girlfriend in the past before eventually moving in with her and marrying her.

Single mothers are failed women. The older they are, the worse they are. If it's a young single mother, you can kind of get away with doing fun stuff with them. But unless you have a child yourself, not worth messing with them. And this wisdom doesn't need any explanation. There's thousands of men would say the same that were in the same situation. Their stories are plentiful.

The only reason I can see for dating a single mom is:

1. desperation/bad market - you lack better options

2. sale on a luxury good - she’s out of your league normally but the child lowers her value enough that you can be with her.

3. You need a woman who’s going to be busy most of the time (childcare + full time job) so you can do other things (or other women)
