I am struggling with this dilemma:
I've always had disgust for those that say one thing and think another.
I put value and respect on people that speak their mind or the unvarnished truth.
I've noticed that the people that get on in life don't do this. They will conceal their intentions and run along with everyone and keep their thoughts private. They then use this to their advantage.
To me it seems a lot of effort living this life and if I did it, I'd feel totally out of control.
An example is the Trump or Brexit thing. This forum had quite a few threads about how supporting trump etc has caused them to be ostracised or victimised. I faced this with Brexit.
If I had gone along with it, my stock would be high, I could be possibly doing well with women or building friendships. However, I stuck to my guns and have become a pariah. Same at work. If you stand out, you'll be targeted.
So, does the real man reserve his true feelings for private or is this being cowardly.
I have always viewed manliness as standing up for what you believe. However, I have learned women seem to like men who are effective and get things their way, in a Machiavellian way.
All the guys I know who have tons of women tend to do what the situation demands or what the woman values. They are not people that pin their colours to the mast. They are tacticians.
How does one reconcile standing for something with playing the system? The system of wealth and pvssy seems to favour being a snake.
