So before Tyson worked for Don King, I learned that he had wiped out all his fighters. It wasn't intentional, just how it happened. So perhaps this fueled Don's desire to make money off of him, then rob him in the end and make he wish he was dead. Don King was a gangster.
At 40:40 into this footage Holmes complained about Tyson throwing elbows, headbuts and hitting after the bell. So he said he didn't see a gentleman in there, he saw a beast. So if he wants to be a beast he's gonna have to go in there with a beast. At that time Holmes was saying he would "humble" Tyson, Holmes may have been one Don Kings men.

yes. I look at him and I think about his body systems all working together in balance. That's 'flow state' then.

Just learned he was married to Givens only 8 months, and she cheated on him with all those Celebrities by then... Wow. That's pressure and hell.

I'm so glad I learned more about Tyson.
I really don't want to judge him any more based on the female conflicts.
I got to tell ya, it all stopped me from learning about his skill years ago.
Even as recent as that appearance in the comedy movie 'hangover' I still had reservations.
This weekend, I absorbed his occupation, his passion and his leadership.
Very cool how much you can learn from hardworking men when you open your mind to his substance and reason for being. Does that make sense?

Tyson is 215 during this Holmes fight. In fights where I didn't feel he was as sharp he was 220-230. So 215 lbs should be target weight, no more than 220.
that was a different fight. He needed his endurance for that one. Good he held out until Holmes got starry-eyed before he unleashed more speed and persistence. Boxing seems to just be about weakening your opponent until the opportunity comes to destroy.
How do fit athletes at that level strip off weight/pounds(the 20 lbs in your opinion)without losing their valuable muscle?

Ive done it. Cut carbs. Keep protein up. Train. Your gonna need to hit weights too. Because it'll force the body to hold onto its muscle. It'll take 2 months from where tyson is currently at.

If you watched in the videos, his intensity and focus dropped off when he got from under his old coach and management. When Cus was dead, he at least had Teddy Atlas keeping an eye on him, then he fired him when he went to Don King. He put a lot more attention on partying, the world and having fun and that same attention was removed from his passion, causing the decline.

But that guy held a g un to his head to teach him a lesson about women. He had to go.

Yea it was a family. The structure proved to be a big difference vs without it. He will need the right person talking to his mind to be successful. I'm pretty sure as a TRUE family man with a son to set an example for that he won't give a shyt about partying, drugs and women this time around. So it'll be easier to keep his attention on the right things. They will resescutate the old ego and mindset deep from the recesses of his mind.
He knows how to believe in himself. Simply review past successes.
He must remember what happens when he's finally in the ring. He relaxes. Knowing he's the champion.
He'll remember his childhood instincts of watching for that flinch that looking away with fear in his opponent's eyes, then he knows he's got em!
Like Cus told him at that house "you don't do something because I told you it was right, you do it because YOU believe its right"
He also has to remember to bend life as he said in his top ten things to live life by.

Men of a certain age (mine, give or take a few) are very, very gay for Tyson. He was already shot at the twilight of his career, didn't have anything for Lewis, Holyfield, or the couple of never-weres who knocked him out at the end. Imagine what 15 years of ring rust has caused. He's not coming back to fight seriously, he's coming back to make some money off exhibition fights with similiarly grizzled gray-bearded dudes. And we, including me, will eat it up like the old days.

I think he can do better than we think, because at that point in his life when he had his losses he had stopped caring, and he was living like a rockstar, IE: partying including drugs, alcohol and wild women was getting most of his attention.
The pursuits of living like a rockstar, dealing with several women blunt a lot of a MANS DRIVE. Look how it does us? Dealing with even one woman can drop OUR drive, let alone trying to keep up with several.
I believe if he puts his body back together, stays undistracted, trains he can give us something interesting to see.
Oh, and I'd like to see Mayweather vs GGG, or Canelo again. The Mayweather camp is very strategic and will find a way to get it done. I know many don't like the lack of all out brawl fighting style, but it is a style that allows the points to be scored without taking any damage. The guy can hit when he wants, and remain unhit for the most part.

Oh the Washington rape deal. After watching the footage, she did appear to be a wholesome girl with a wholesome dad. When Tyson pulls up at 2 AM in the limo, and she's insistant upon him carrying her around to see other celebrities and Tyson may have been angry, because he wanted to see her, not be her escort to see "other"celebs. So he may have felt like she wanted to "use" him, thus he did what HE wanted.
Irregardless people at that level are targets by various predators including female predators. On the Robin Givens, she cheated on him with half a dozen celebrities or more within the 8 months they were married. And it's verified. That's a shyt ton of stress, she definitely got on Tyson to get boosted up in the world of the famous. It was a gold-digger scenario and not good.
Washington wasn't on that female predatory wavelength as Givens. When I heard her speak, she seemed like the type to see the good in the world.
