Just out of curiosity...does this girl like me or not?

here's the story:
I have a relationship for almost 2 years now. Things are going OK and all.
Lately I've been speaking an old friend (=girl) and she came over here the other day to see my new appartment.
She kept tickling me, and sometimes staring in my eyes. Also, she leaned very much to my side of the couch and when telling something she had a very open appearance (by which I mean, she did not have her legs crossed or her arms or something).
Oh, and she laughed at all my jokes, though more than half of them were not even funny...
When I asked her if she liked me, she said the following things:
-I don't like you (by which she meant not in a "I like-like you" way)
-besides, even if I would like you, I wouldn't probably tell you because that would complicate things (me having a girlfriend and all)

Not satisfied with these answers I kept asking her, and she kept saying that she didn't like me, though she kept tickling and cuddling me.

Now, I spoke with one of her best friends today and she said that as far as she knew she did not have special feelings for me.

Also, she said that she's just that kind of girl (that likes tickling and is very open and stuff)

(notice the bold and italic to keep the she's apart:p)

Now I'm happy with my relationship...but I'm also very curious about other womans feelings for me...it's just fun to know...

so what do you think?:p

Dude by asking her if she wants you, you have given her control. She doesn't wants you or she wants you out of your relationship first shes gaming you. Not a good situation with a GF.

If you get in a similar situation, even if it's a gamer on attention wh0re, and you want her, NEVER EVER ask for confirmation or permission. Just try and kiss her see what happens, or play her a better game back. Gaming back is fun it turns around some women who were initially not interested.

Everytime she touches say that "You know she wants you" and your "Way too innocent for that touching so please stop" and bullsh*t like that. Don't let her tell you shes "just that kinda girl" or any stuff like that if she does just reply more nonsense like "your too innocent for a-that-kinda-girl-touchyness" or any nonsense answer which assumes she trying to get you and your the bait. You can tease her all the way. Make sure you come across jokish, not too serious about beeing "innocent".

Accusing women of wanting you, you reverse roles. Your the bait, she wants you, not she gotta work. It really confuses a woman when you do this, but you give her blanc card to try and play (after all it's a joke).

You notice how she reacts. Off course she will deny in any case, but if she keeps touchy or acts like "WTF I'm so sexy.. WHY... WHY" and goes more touchy you know you got bait otherwise shell be the hell out. Be carefull though, pissy women make bad gossip so if she aint biting, play it all on beeing a joke but no more touching.

Postphone the thing till she drives nuts. If she bites inititally and keeps touching, you can go really far with this thing. Great to have a woman work, women go crazy on this kind of game. Hold your hand before your eyes if she moves sexy, say you like hugging trees if she asks what you find hot or any nonsense that you can come up with. She might try push all kind of accusation on you like "your an ass" or "are you gay?" or whatever just don't take her any serious. Play her back on her answers, make sure you always have the last word and don't give in till she REALLY REALLY REALLY is all over you.

uh-oh. I think you just pissed on yourself.

NEVER, I repeat, NEVER tell a girl you like her, unless you establish that you're out to date her from the Get-go. the way you did it...she was a friend. you messed it up. you acted too soft, and weren't exertnig rock cold masculinity.

you messed it up. I think it's redeemable, but it's VERY slim chance you do.

you don't say "do you like me" EVER. with women, erase those words from your vocabulary, unless it's achingly obvious, in which case here, it wasn't.

What you should've done is treat her like she was annoying you by tickling you. show your indifference and detachment from her obvious perchance at you. by treating her like she did something wrong, without being a ass (aka NEGGING) than you let her know you're not easily taken, have higher standards, won't settle for anything, and thus, raise your quality in her eyes. that's what you should've done.

please read carefully...I never said I like her...
I was just playfully asking if she liked ME.
I'm happy with my current relation, but I was just wondering if she was or not.
Ow...and yeah, when she tickled and stuff, I did tell her "that it was wrong and maybe we should stop"...only to continue (and I said it on a very playfull tone;))

So...the question is:
is what she (and her friend) said true (she doesn't like me and is like that to everybody)
or is the body language true (as far as I can tell, tickling and cuddling and staring in the eyes and laughing at not-funny jokes is pretty much "I like you")

Well, unfortunately, in a world where it's often men pursuing women, that came off as a off-handed attempt at conveying her interest.

And it's not far off impossible--if you talk to her alot, remind her of how interesting every other girl is to you, talk about sex alot, etc. and when it comes down to certain things, you can even be like "well I'm glad I can talk to you about such sexually explicit stuff--ha, good thing I only see you as a sister"--that right there should be enough to drive her crazy.
