To be honest i think tatoos just mangle the outward apearance. And would never get one. But thats just me.

Just wondering what you guys think of tatoos on women and tatoos in general.

I'm up to 16.

My right arm will be completely sleeved by the end of Spring.

All I ever get are compliments and bottom-lip biting stares from women. It's not the ink, per se', it's the demeanor I have with my ink.

Nothing on my body is "typical" flash art bullsh!t. Every one of my tattoo's represent a point in my life or an ideal I live by.

Honestly? I always thought they were stupid. and they do nothing to make a woman any more attractive to me. I don't think I've ever been in a serious relationship with a girl with tattoos. Banged plenty who had them though.

No offense to anyone who has them but in my experience people with tats have serious issues. There is a certain masochistic pain factor, combined with an element of addiction that usually is there to cover up severe problems at home, with parents, failed marriages, drugs, alcohol, etc.

I know this is a terrible generalization, and you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, yadda yadda. But in my experience, all the chicks with tats that I dated disqualified themselves from an LTR by being incorrigible wh0res who also happened to be bat-sh-t crazy.

Aesthetically, to me nothing is more beautiful than a flawless complexion, a women whose skin is silky, smooth and without blemishes is more of a turn-on than one who has defiled her skin with toxic inks. I've seen a few tasteful ones before, but overall it just looks trashy/low-class, plus most people who get them are terribly unoriginal with all the tribal sh-t, japanese characters, etc.

The coolest one I ever saw was tiny, on a FB's ankle; she put "©1982" - i thought that was classy, subtle and original and she turned out to be pretty cool (we are still friends) The rest.. blech

I've got a dagger tattoo on my upper arm. Everyone in section had it done after our first tour of theatre. Yeap...truly a cliché.

On a girl I don't mind them on the base of the spine. Gives me something to look at.

A tatoo on a marine makes sense,a tatoo on a teenager girl who want to prove something disqualify herself easily for anything serious.
Dislike especially those big tatoo on the lower back, girls with those look to me as damaged goods, anyway to each his own since if it was for me they were not even supposed to wear trousers too often or do manly jobs..not a modern vision from me.

I'm not a fan personally. Especially on attractive women. Ugly people, who cares.

I just can't imagine any image EVER meaning enough to me that I would need it to be permanently stamped on my body. Maybe someday but I doubt it.

You know how sometimes you encounter someone who tells you that "______ doesn't bother them"? Then you know right away that it DOES bother them. That's why they brought it up in the first place. Or when someone goes out of their way to tell you how good they are at something. You know if they really were THAT good they would be confident about it and not need to brag.

I feel the same way when people tell me about the important meaning of their tattoos. If something is TRULY important to you then it would already be a part of you. Putting it on display via tattoos somehow seems like a weakness or lack of confidence to me. Like the person needs to remind himself or prove to others that he possesses a certain quality or depth of character.

It's just like the weirdo, artsy, musician, types who go WAY over the top with crazy fashion, piercings, hairdos, etc just to get attention. If there really was something deep or interesting going on there show it thru your personality or talents. That crazy look you are sporting just says "trying too hard."

I also wonder about guys who say that tattoos attract women. I'm sure they do attract a "certain" type of woman but I'm sure they repel other women too. What is more important? If 50% of the women in the world find tattoos repulsive isn't that kind of limiting for a guy hanging out on a seduction forum?

All that being said I have seen some tasteful and cool tattoos out there. Some people have good taste but many do not.

Ok im not alone! just wondering what do you mean when the say they disqualify themselves for something serious?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Like guys who believe little green dots are symbolic of who they "want" to be.

Unless you've gotten tattoo'ed, or married for that matter, you cannot comment on what they could possibly mean to someone.

You're chronically masturbating otherwise.

Green dots? I don't get it???

Sorry if I insulted anyone. I just find when people tell me about their tattoos they do it in a way that it somehow gives them strength or pride or there is some deep meaning that needs to be expressed.

I think you should broaden your perspective a little more brother.

Some people are more extroverted in our self-expression. I'm a tattoo, piercing guy. Is it solely for attention? Nope. The attention is a by-product of my ink.

No different than any type of body modification: Body building, is the closest cousin.

Moreso, my words are the most clarified method I express myself.

I used to have season tickets to a hockey team in my city. The gal who sat in front of us had a tramp stamp. All of us were curious as we didnt know what it meant. Through one of her friends, we found out it said "fvck me" in Gaelic.

I have two oorah tattoos from my days in the Marine Corps.

One on a forearm, one on a bicep.

I want to get the forearm tattoo removed, I'd rather leave that part of my life in the past and this tattoo starts conversations I don't want to have anymore.

i don't have a problem with them really. i've dated chicks with them. i think it's a fad anyways, it won't completely die out but i think more people are getting them now to "look cool" then ever before. i like to be different then everyone, so i don't have any. i don't care what girls like or don't like, i wasn't born to entertain them or impress them. i'm me and i'm happy with that.
