Hey guys, recently the brick wall of reality has hit me hard and I've been trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I will be graduating in 2011 with a dual degree in finance and economics and as it stands now a pretty high gpa. The problem is, I have no idea what I want to do with this.
So far I have worked for several firms interning. I have done wealth management (not for me at all) and analytical type work (which I like). And I have also built a nice little network.
Now, from here I know I would like to pursue a career in corporate finance. However, the thought of law school has been creeping into my head. And recently, the idea of a joint J.D./M.B.A. has been too.
And even more recently, I have thought about a career in law enforcement. Something at a government level, something in which I would be able to use my degree or hell going to graduate school for criminal justice...maybe after joining the armed forces to boost my credentials.
But plain and simply, I have no idea and would love to hear anyones thoughts, especially guys who are in the finance field.
Thanks.
