That response was bull****. It leaves an impression of you wanting to be a female. If you pay close attention, when she said you're like the male version of her, she MIGHT'VE been implying that you're a bit effeminate. Whatever the case, don't respond back with saying that you'd want to have her tits... it's sexist, and frankly, a bit pervish.

Try, "You're like the male version of me too." **** doesn't make sense, but it's still a neutral statement. In any case, that whole comment gets the backseat, you move on, and the impression is, that whole rant was just fluff in the course of interaction. Better to neutralize a person's statement than to mistakenly AFFIRM whatever minor slight a person made towards you.

And if she's a sexual person...
->: "Your like the male version of me"
Or, DUH!

If you're a sympathising wimp, guess what?

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

No, not really . Even if I was a sexy beast and she knew it, and said those words, that's not a real...friendly way to say it, she's goddamn horny.

This is either a compliment or a ****t Test...If you were working solid game up to this point take it as a compliment because she wouldnt associate herself with someone of lower value. Think about it... she is basically saying SHE IS SIMILAR TO YOU...and if you were a low value guy she wouldnt associate her self.

If you werent working solid game or even if you were it may be a ****t test...hard to decifer from a web forum lol. To pass a ****t test you must NOT break the vibe...you cannot retaliate or get mad......to pass a test you MUST joke around it, and pass it off light heartedly.

Here is a cool gambit to use in that situation. False Disqulifyer too!

"OMG totally, thats why I can already tell...you and I, are not going to get along...you wouldnt take my ****t...and I wouldnt take your ****t"

Say it light hearted with a grin on your face.

By using this False Disqualifyer you are turning the tables on her. Pretty cool huh?

me : pfft. -looks mockingly shocked. i know you love me hon, but stop trying to find things in common with us. is that the best you can come up with? turns away and acts exaggeratedly pissed off.

^^^Remember you DONT want to break the vibe...by breaking the flow of the conversation you are sub-communicating that you are not socially savvy.

im not a dude and i don't know what did she mean by saying that but to me your reply seems pretty witty. it is short and smart and sarcastic. and it didn't leave her anything to say in response.

that makes you...a very lucky girl. Or "is that supposed to be a compliment your gonna have to try harder than that" or " dont flatter yourself" - say it in a funny way with a wink or something.

It depends on what kind of girl she is. If she's into the whole soulmate philosophy, and she told you that, unless you do something to f*ck it up, you are pretty much set.

The reverse of this line works great on girls as well, it's basic dialogue mirroring. I.e. using responses like "me too" "i'm the exact same way" "you're like a female me, it's crazy" can exaggerate the similarities between you and the girl and bring her closer to you.

Give it a try sometime, and also try saying the opposite sometime and project yourself as an opposite of her, and you'll see what I mean.

Generally when my mates say that a girl is a female version of me, it means shes a bit of a slut and knows shes the s**t.

A couple of girls have said that I'm like a male version of them (scarily, these are the girls I find most attractive). It's a very open statement but I concur with Shezz when he says it could be saying "you and me are alike, lets go and roll in the hay".

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Ever tried looking at the flipside of this? As opposed to following through with the 'Oh so tried and tested C+F lines', how about trying to really see what she actually meant.

HB: Your like the male version of me!

********: Wow! You and me are so alike!!!

Remember, fools rush in - take a step back and calibrate - evaluate how you have been doing with this girl, then and then only can you determine what she truly means.
--- That makes absolute sense to me.

In context, she qualified you based on something insignificant. That's an IOI in my book. Off the top of my head, "Is that a compliment?" might work.

I tell girls they're "like me in a wig" when they have something in common with me that I like.

lol, i think a C&F joke is what I would have done BUT in hindsight perhaps the best thing to do would be to build a connection, get deeper rapport, etc. When she says this it looks like she is easy pickings for showing how much you have in common, display a lil sexuality and *BAM*
