That's just his writing style. He's a very descriptive writer, and very talented. You can tell it's kinda like art to him...and he put a lot into his posts. His tips are VERY good...but to those with a short attention span or who just are too restless or impatient to follow the long posts, his points tend to get lost. You have to be someone who either enjoys his writing style or can at least follow it patiently to get much out of his posts.
I've read a few of his posts in full to give him a fair chance. I found them to just be a fancy rehash of what goes around on this forum, advice in the DJB, and advice in many articles available all over the internet. He does not say anything that you can't find in the above mentioned resources, hence, they are NOT "his" tips. Why does he constantly get credit for simple concepts that you can find on practically any self-improvement resource?
His writing style is not original either. That, like his advice is also rehashed. There is not a single unique bone in his body. Just apparently the Pook-lovers/followers on here are not well-read or well-cultured enough to see this.
What am I talking about you say? Allow me to elaborate:
*poof*
In a ball of black smoke the masked man known as TillTheEndOfTime enters, along with one of his followers. With fires matching the fury of hell, TillTheEndOfTime disperses the shadows covering the Sacred Book.
"What is this Sacred Book?" the confused follower asks.
"Ah ha!, seek and ye shall find young one."
The follower picks up the Sacred Book. He dusts off the cover to reveal the identity of this Sacred Book. At this point he can only read the Author's name....it says....."Pook".
The follower takes off some more dust to reveal the title of this Sacred Book. It says: "The Holy Bible".
Director: "Alright, alright that's the cut! Lights on please!"
Pook's writing style is straight from The Holy Bible. Don't any of you know about the Gospels? Have not any of you seen the writing style used to describe the story of Jesus and how he taught his disciples? If not, read the Gosepls in the Bible.
You will find that Pook did nothing but rehash the writing style in these stories in the Bible.
Sorry I had to break this to you Pook-lovers.
