How about you go to the gym to actually work out?

If you were focused on that you wouldn't have time for any of that other stuff.

You say that but when you see those smokin hot 20 year olds in a bra and thin leggings in the center of the room doing lunges it's hard not to go caveman mode. That said I am pretty good about ignoring them myself but some of these women are a menace to society.

If she wants attention she will dress in a way to get it. If she wants to get to know you, she will linger around in an approachable way after your workout.

Its normal to be interested in the girls in the gym. Especially if your average day doesn't put you into contact with other women that your attracted to. Its a great chance for working on your behavior and image. Not being affected by them because you have abundance.... If you stare it looks like your not used to being in contact with women.

Agree with @saige that the girl is simply doing her thing. Let her. Otherwise you are kinda uncalibrated & odd.

Be cool & work out. This is a public venue. Respect the personal space of others.

The gym is my crucible where I work on myself, do not let some piece of tail ignore your peace there, it is where you forge yourself in fire, stop getting distracted.

If she wants you bad enough she will find a way to find you outside of the gym.

Approaching women at the gym is a really good way to get kicked out of the gym. In fact it is a really good way to get canceled by some stupid hoe looking to make some indignation porn because you dare approached her while she was working out.

It falls under the universal principal of don't **** where you eat, that is why you don't hit on women at work, the gym, or places you won't be happy if you cannot go back.

I hate when people pretend everyone in gym is for work out only, Yes many people there are for work out, but lets not ignore the fact most women who go to the gym are there for upgrade their body to get an upgrade for the guy they have or they dont have yet. Beside many men are there who are building body especially the young ones are building it for the same reason getting women.
So yes women are working out, but also on hunting mission.

Back to the question, I think you never know unless you ask something casual like "How many sets you have remaining ? I want to use these kattles too" if she respond friendly you can continue by asking more casual question until you turn it into conversation.
Some one doent show any IOI first and some just playing game to see how much attention they can get. casual questions doesnt hurt to test water.
