A lot of you guys think too much. Does anyone here watch the new ESPN series "Playmakers?" Well, the quarterback of the Cougars is having problems with his game. He's not making passes accurately, causing interceptions, fumbling and generally losing more confidence with each play. So what does he do? He tries to adjust. He gets back on the field and thinks about not throwing an interception, only to throw one again.

This is many of you. Hell, some of you won't even get off the bench to play the game.

So our quarterback here loses the game and then takes all week to think about it. He comes to the conclusion that he's setting himself up for failure by constantly thinking of what not to do wrong instead of just playing the damn game.

Does this ring a bell? You guys know the plabook (the DJ bible, mASF, etc). So go out there and play. If you throw an interception, learn from it and keep gunning.

After winning the next game a reporter asks the quarterback what was he thinking when he threw the game winning touchdown. He replies, "nothing." What he meant was that all the years and weeks of practicing, playing, going over game tape, etc got him ready for that one moment. Instinct took over, his mind was clear, and he performed.

So stop youself for a minute when you find that you're second guessing yourself in the middle of the game with women. Quit wondering if she likes you or not and score! If you're reading this then you're practicing. Now go out and play.

Point well taken, but some of the best quaterbacks in the game also study the game constantly. Peyton Manning watches tape 6 hours a day during the season

I am not sure what "shooting people" has to do w/ anything, but the point is you study AND perform

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

What GoodOlBoy is trying to say is that when you are out in the field (Clubs, Pubs, The Gym, School etc...) is to act instead of thinking about what you should say and / or do.

Overanalyzing a situation leads to hesitation.

Yes, it's good to study the DJ Bible and such, but the more you appraoch and DJ women, the more natural it will become.

You don't think about breathing, walking, blinking your eyes etc... because it comes naturally.

That's the state we want to reach when it comes to DJ'ing women.

GoodOlBoy: Big bump, excellent post. It gets really tiring read posts by guys that claim to be DJ's when everyone else knows they're AFC's hiding in DJ clothing. I think the typical story goes something like this:

"I met this girl...blah blah blah...
"I can't figure out what she meant when she stared at me and then rubbed her back."

"I have 1 other prospect so I don't have one-itis, so do you think she likes me???"

"I have only called her 1000000x since last week, is that too much??"

I could go on and on, but sometimes just letting the story unfold is better than reading the last page first.
