You don't need to be muscular/huge to get girls, in fact most women don't like it

First, as someone else pointed out unless you're on steroids and/or incredibly genetically gifted, a body builder will just look fit. Second, when not under harsh lights, dehydrated, pumped up, and oiled up a body builder just looks buff, not gross.

The images you see in muscle mags are incredibly different than a "real" lifter, even very dedicated ones.

In real life, chicks dig muscles, but there's no "one magic thing".

bigjohnson - guessing from your nickname and from your previous responses, you are focusing on bodybuilding and penis size because you are overcompensating for something.

I agree with the original post. Lots of women actively find (confident) skinny guys the hottest. Musicians for example. Something to do with their confidence coming from somewhere other than a gym.

Yeah, I'm overcompensating for all the money I make, that's it.

Or maybe I'm just trying to inject a little reality into this fantasy you're weaving.

Yep, that part is correct.

Most of you former skinny guys on this forum seem to be operating under the impression that the huge bodybuilding guys have the physique that most women want. That is a misconception.

Most women think that the huge bodybuilding physique is gross, and they think that the guys who spend all the time in the gym and obsess over their diet to attain that type of physique are silly and stupid.
Thanks for posting this. Personally, I think muscly men look gross. I can't stand the hulking shoulders and huge arm muscles and necks so thick that their head looks like a neck with a face on it. Football players--definitely WAY too buff for my liking. Of all my (girl) friends I've talked to about this, all but one found muscular men visually repulsive.

I'm really attracted to skinny boys. I love long, flat torsos, and arms with only *very* slight muscle definition. Six-pack abs turn me off.

There will definitely always be percentages of women who are attracted to different body types, but I think for the most part women *really* aren't that into muscly men.

Mostly women want whatever other women have. That's pretty much rule #1.

After that they want a confident guy who fits their personal idea of Mr Right.

Being rich, fit and good looking never hurts on EITHER of those counts, but everyone gets to play the game.

There is a huge difference in how a muscular guy can look. For example, most women think that the HUGE bodybuilders that are almost 100 % muscle with veins popping out everywhere, and on roids, are nasty looking. Like this guy. http://plaza.rakuten.co.jp/img/user/22/80/3472280/55.jpg

But for example, I have not heard one woman say that this guy, John Cena is not hot. Most women LOVE him. He is not overly muscular though, and I don't think he is on roids because he doesn't have the veins popping out everywhere. He is 6'1 and about 240 lbs. http://img.search.com/thumb/7/71/Johncenatitle.jpg/200px-Johncenatitle.jpg Women get wet and have said "I would do him" just by looking at this guy. They have told me.

Sorry, there's very little difference in the 'hugeness' of those 2 guys, except 1 is oiled up/flexing hard, and the other is relaxed.

I used to work out all the time, and at one time I was reasonably big.

I *hated* that, when people met me, they would automatically assume that I was dumb because of my body. Even though I was far from dumb, I had to prove myself. I don't get that now that I've slimmed down some.

Hate to be a beacon of negativity here, but what's the point of this thread? All you're going to get is all the skinny/average guys saying that chicks don't like big guys, and then all the big guys coming here and talking about how much chicks like muscles.

But none of it matters. As long as you're not one extreme or the other, it all boils down to oneself. Chicks care about personality and confidence, not the size of your triceps. I've seen girls date guys that are quite underweight, and equally hot girls date guys that probably can't even touch their back.

i believe the point was to enlighten some of these guys so that a lot of them don't continue with the misconception that girls like big muscle guys, so that they don't spend so much time obsessing about 'gaining mass' and going to the gym - thinking that they are helping themselves when in fact they are making themselves unappealing to most women and wasting time that would be better used furthering their careers.

Ok, yeah. I can see that. But the proof's in the pudding...just grab the latest copy of "Flex" and show 'em a nice, big picture of Markus Ruhl or Gunter Schlierkamp and watch their reactions. It's pretty priceless. ;)
the reaction would be the same if you showed some guy a pictures of the porn star candy apples - with 52 DDD breasts. he will be like 'whoa, those are huge!' but he wouldn't necessarily want to date that girl, take her home to meet his mom, or even fvck that girl.

It's ok, Deus still doesn't get it. Nobody is talking about extremes. All we're saying is that working out and looking like you work out even with clothes on (and even better with clothes off) is a turn on.

There won't be a single person on this message board to ever get anywhere near the size of Ruhl. Stop kidding yourself.

not this again.

If you took two men who were identical in every way, except 1 man had considerably more muscle mass, which man do you think would be more attractive to women?

Nobody is saying to become a bodybuilder, but the fact is if you gain muscle mass, you will become more attractive to women.

Skinny guys want to feel better about themselves, thats all this is. When you go from skinny to having some mass, you are more attractive to women. Period, end of discussion.

You really believe that someone with say a wide receiver's physique won't have get more attention from girls than your average joe????

As others have said, no one here is going to get HUGE from working out (some people seem to think that it would happen by accident!). A bit of muscle goes a long way. Pook has a great post on the increase in attention he got while bulking up. I have a friend who tbh keeps his gf purely because of his phsique.

The way I look at it. An average guy with very good game can get pretty much any woman. A buff guy with ok game can get pretty much any woman. A buff guy with bad game can still get ok women (HB7). An average guy with bad game is stuck with HB6 and below.

People (both sexes) usually enjoy fit bodies in general, not necessarily one extreme or the other, just fit.
