Ok most here are properly familar with dogs and hearing the myth that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Well, I had to share this true story about my pet cat, I know men shouldn't have a cat for a pet but I do and I wouldn't have it any other way his name is Bozo. Bozo is an old cat now 17 in cat years thats really up there in age. Bozo was born from a Calico who is now dead making Bozo just your average white and orange cat and not an expensive breed.

Reasonly Bo, short for Bozo one morning while I was sitting taking natures coarse walked into the bathroom having a fit. I have always talked to Bo like I would an adult or a child and told him wait until I get through as I figured maybe he was hungry while he walked in circles in front of me while I was on the toilet.

When he walked out the bathroom I finished up and was at the sink when he returned and started back up again. I then looked down at him and I notice he was peeking into the area where the toilet was. I continued to shave and brush my teeth when I notice Bo disappeared I didn't hear him anymore.

I looked outside the bathroom down the hall and didn't see him so I returned to the sink when I decided to look around the corner where the toilet was where I saw Bo squatting taking a piss with a perfect aim. When he got through he jumped off and ran out.

My pet cat Bozo (taught himself) to use my toilet without training and this morning once again used it for a total of 3 times that I have witinessed him using it and I know he has used it before as I have at times noticed the water was yellow not thinking anything about it at the time.

I have found cats are pretty neat and Bo being he is in the last stages of his life I will be missing him when he passes away.

When you walk into my house which is shy of 1900 sq there are no smells of a cat that lives with me and the litter box though is still used for his number 2 I am watching to see if he just might start doing number 2 also in the toilet. Then I hope he learns to flush :D

I don't understand people who abuse animals like dogs or cats for when you have them around they are the most entertaining creatures on the planet.

Thanks for reading.

It's all right........ if u have a good time!
Cats can be great pets, such little smartasses that it is just hilarious to have them around. I read recently on Cajun's blog - something I'd also noticed myself - is that cats communicate via body language and will respond well to confidence and masculinity.

Interesting about the confidence and masculinity thing.

I believe this has been my success with Bo I don't and never talked to him like talking to a baby not saying that's bad but being a man I project authority on him and if he does something I don't like I don't feed him for awhile or put food in his bowl and soon he gets the idea that if he's going to get fed he better listen.

I'll have to check that Cajun's blog.

Thanks

Cats are cool! They are the DJ's of the animal world, dogs are the clingy AFC's. Men should strive to be more like cats.

CATS
I don't care if you're reading the paper, PET ME!
Yeah, I know it's 2am, but my dish is empty and I can't work the can opener.
Don't pet me now, not in the mood...CLAWS...told you I wasn't in the mood!
Oh look! You laid out your brand new shirt for me to sleep on! Thanks Dude!

DOGS
Please...please pet me! I'll lay down on your feet till you notice me...((sigh))
Fetch for you? Oh YES! YES! YES! I'll bring it back! Throw it Throw it!
Please...please pet me! I'll lay down on your feet till you notice me...((sigh))
Sit & stay? Okay...but I want to be with YOUUUUUU! Pet me! Pet me! Pet me!

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Watertiger I agree ;)

Bo used the toilet again this morning and hoping he will start to use number two soon.

This is so funny and entertaining with Bo.

taiyuu otoko enjoyed that video clip lol! Love that breed of cat they are known to be very intelligent.

Bo was similar to that cat but Bo looked more stern and had that pose that he knew exactly what he was doing like he was the sh*t :D

This is kind of a ridiculous discussion to be having (the dog/cat AFC thing, not your story - that's awesome).

Seriously man? Seriously? ...I guess I'll bite.

Why do dogs chase cats? Why are cats and girls always associated with each other? Why are dogs called "Man's best friend"?

Cats need to be pampered, they do nothing all day and think everything is theirs, they strive for attention and are moody, and only a small handful of them would even give a damn if their owner was in trouble and would be more concerned about their self-preservation. Dogs are fiercely loyal, energetic, upbeat, dominant, and would risk their own lives to save their owner. Come on now.

Err.. I can't believe I'm having this conversation right now
