and people make the makeshift fvck to represent the original spelling anyway?

Personally, I don't think adults should ever have a NEED to swear at all. I certainly don't. Just because you're a "grown up adult" doesn't mean you're entitled to "Adultery"! (Poor example there eh?)

Secondly: Some of us use these boards while in work. Lots of workplaces have swear and sex filters. Think about it...

The Idea that the censorship is too much has been tossed around in the suggestions forum. The suggestions in the suggestion & feedback forum are read by admin and sometimes the admin does reply and give his opinion.

Actually, before I became a mod, I posted something similar in Suggestions and Feedback.

It doesn't really bother me anymore. It's no big deal. I'm sure Allen realises that most of us are grown men, but that's not the reason why the filter's on.

Allen can give you the details (if he can summon the will-power and patience to explain it again for the umpteenth time).
