Soooo....a few months back I was at a bar hanging with friends and met the sister of a girl I know. She was fairly cute, a HB6.5/7, 30 years old, but had a really cool personality and fairly intelligent too. We talked literature and both liked some of the same authors, etc. Things were going swimmingly and I thought she'd make a decent plate. So at the end of the night I asked if she'd like to head back to my place for a drink and she laughingly said "what kind of girl do you think I am!?" I just smirkingly laughed and then bounced out with the aloofness.
Saw her again next week at the same bar (it's a regular night we all meet up) and same thing all night, good chemistry, kino, etc. When I was ready to leave I just hugged her and kissed her on the cheek and bounced again. Wasn't feeling the rush to make things happen and I was pretty sure they would eventually anyhow. So I get home and then get a text from this girl that went something like this:
"You know, you really ought to appreciate the next time a high-quality woman like me comes into your life and try harder to impress her"
My original thought was WTF? So I replied with: "So you're saying you want to come over?"
To which she made some attitude laced reply and so I never responded, end of story. I was a bit puzzled at the time since I am definitely higher value than this girl and thought it was a sure thing. My incredulous first thought was "I'm 28, on the rise, damn good looking, funny, charming, etc, and you're speeding towards the wall at age 30 and I'm supposed to strive to impress YOU because you're working on your fancy degree and maybe have half a brain!? I chalked it up to feminist corruption, haven't seen her around since. Although the sister started being kind of weird to me after that but I figured it was since she saw me with other, younger, prettier girls after the fact haha. But I never really gave HB6.5 another thought.
UNTIL...
This past weekend I was at a buddy's house party. I saw another friend who I hadn't seen for a while and as we were talking it turns out he's now roomies with this girl's sister. So I offhandedly said "oh yeah, she's kind of weird to me now since I made a pass at her sister, but nothing came of it"
And he says "dude, you know she's HIV positive".
Now mind you, this girl was extremely respectable in appearance and demeanor, not a bar slvt. So be warned guys, who knows when and where danger will strike. Her weird text makes more sense now, instead of saying "I have HIV" - why not just play it up like I wasn't good enough for her. Crazy stuff man. Always wrap it up fellas.
