I remember when I first got into C&F routines and the whole bit, and reading up on them, I remember reading David DeAngelo's, "perfect answering machine message." At the time I thought he meant something ****y and funny you could leave on your voicemail box, so women that would call would hear and get some automatic C&F waiting for them, at least till I myself could stuff them full of it.

Turns out, he was really meaning it was a message to leave on someone else's machine, in the instance they don't answer. While his advice helped with this situation, it got me to thinking...

Is there a ****y and funny answering machine message that I could leave on my voicemail box that would sound.....interesting and do the trick? Ideas anyone?

damn, what about just "Please leave a message and I'll get back to you"?
you don't have to be in DeAngelo mode 24/7

what if its a business call or something?

Try one that you make them look needy for calling you and actually waiting till the machine picked up.

I used to have a prank message that sounded as if it was me answering the phone, 'Hi, who's that? Oh Hi, how are you doing? etc. Ha got ya, leave a message.'

Ok, I stole the idea off Sam Malone.

One things for sure, in the pickup world, C and F is probably the most misunderstood technique.
