After looking at Jayer's approach journal I decided that it is high time to get the show on the road. I am challenging Jayer - first to 100 approaches wins... and I am allowing him the 28 approaches head start. I think this will further motivate me to finish my approach journal. I honestly think I can win this.

If this is accepted I will begin to post my approaches in this thread. Today is the day I will begin counting approaches and posting my crash and burns, most likely.

One thing I want to mention before I start:
- If I disobey the 3 second rule by being a procastinating piece of sh*t, I will abandon any approach. I will also post about it to tell of my embarassment and hope this will discourage me from being a patsy the next time!

Also, I realize this is my first post... so call me a noob - but I am up to any challenge. Its on

So I did not go out with the intention to do any approaches today, but I figured I might as well get started if the opportunity presents itself - though it didn't.

I had to go to the mall to pick up some pants I had altered - so I figured I would walk around for about 10 minutes to see if I could find any 'approaching' material. I did see one girl, who was on her phone, that looked decent. I waited for her to get off and as soon as she did she turned the corner. Other then that all I saw were older people (50+) or women with children. I guess Monday isn't the best day for being at the mall, only people that are there are women, children, and the unemployed!

Alright guys I have an update already:

Not sure if this counts as an approach, but...

Tonight after going to the grocery store and eating dinner, I came back to my apartment. After talking to my roomate for a little while, I remembered I had lent a frying pan a couple weeks ago to a girl that lives in the same apartment complex. I don't really know her too well - we're pretty much acquintances. Well I popped into her room and asked her if she could return the item. As it turns out we end up talking for about 20 minutes. As I begin to excuse myself our conversation unfolded somewhat like this-

X: So what are you doing two weekends from now?
HB: Well I have a test early in the morning and then after that I am going to come back home, what about you?
X: I have somethings to get done, but we should hang out
HB: Yeah sure, when I come back I will see if you are at your place or vice versa
X: Or you could just give me your number and I will call you
HB: Ok

Not sure if this counts as an approach, but I did get a number from a girl I barely know. What do you guys think?

well, you didn't run any game on her. Right now I'm sure she only sees you as a friend.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Thats a warm approach dude.
Fair enough, note I did not add this is an approach, but I did get a # regardless.

Update for today:

I was walking behind a girl after class and then of course I hesitated past the 3 second rule and in essence failed to say anything. I even had a good line, what a chump huh.

Other then that I was in the library all day. There are always some HB walking around, but I can't see this as a good venue to do approaches.
