I haven’t done the personals in quite some time, and do not recall this phrase, but I’ll share my theory.

This is likely somebody that has been pumped and dumped. They type out these descriptives, in order to make themselves feel good. Also, it’s an effort to project a certain image and appeal to a certain type of person (and that certain type of person is whom they hope will make them feel empowered.).

The type of person that would respond to such an attitude, is not someone she will respect, nor will the person who responds really respect themselves. It’s a lose/lose situation.
