So I started talking to this girl on myspace, shes cute and I just found out she lived pretty close by. The only problem is, while her profile said she was 18 and she appeared to be 18, shes actually just shy of 16. I'm 18. Is a senior dating a sophomore strange? We haven't met or anything yet, but I was supposed to today.

I wouldn't say 16-18 is that big a gap as 2 years at that age isn't much. Plus she's legal. Go for it if you want dude.

At my school, we have senior-soph relationships all the time...just be very careful with any sexual activity, cause you don't want to be a statutory rapist and have to register with the cops for the rest of your life.

I don't think theres a problem with the age difference. But, you said your 18 and she's just shy of 16? Than, she is not legal; so becareful with what you do.

I think here in PA, the legal age is 16. Oh well. Must be different over where you live.
