Im tired of all these " Roses are red, violets are blue" and " soulmate" bullcrap tone of voice in our poetry these days. Not only is the entertainment and popular culture heavily AFC, so is our literature. Mostly all the poets these days are highly AFC. Let's take back the masculinity in our poetry people and there's no better place to start it here. Here's one that I wrote recently:


Inspiration

I'm in the zone

A sudden rush of light

Went inside my head

And nope,

Sorry it aint cocaine.

They are not cats

And have watches
Time? Time to ****
they are born to ****

We leave the park
And go to my arc

And I leave them *** filled
I should get billed!
That's a lotta *** in their faces!

I say hi
and she says hi.
shes looking at magazines.
I say so is that a good magazine.
she say its alright.
im felling kind bright.

we talk for a few minutes.
and she seems pretty interested.
I say I have to go.
then I say well you should give me your number.
and she looks really interested.
and gives her her number.

then I tell her bye.
and my best friend is shocked.
wow that was no lie.
can you teach me im shocked.
I say sure why not.

I am in AP english classes, and to be honest, these poems aren't worth crap in literary fashion. But they are sorta fun to read.


Girls
Some are cool, like smooth winter ice,
yet perhaps that is their downfall.

It is like looking through a looking glass,
transparent yet possibly superficial.

Some are good, some are bad,
Some are never to be had.

Going though life looking for good times,
good laughs, in short the time of their lives,
will you be the time of their lives?


Guys
Give me a place where the beer flows free,
and the hot girls keep calling for me,
Give me my time to watch NFL with the guys,
And anyhting else I could want,
And I'll die a happy man.

crappy poem, I know, but hey, this is kinda fun.

Personally I think poems are a means to distract and hinder men to become better men and to keep them occupied while she gets plowed by the milk man.

Jibberish that serves no real purpose to make me a step ahead of the milk man.

THAT reasoning right there is what is SO lacking in high schools today.
