It seems to me that Skip just tried something on the spur of the moment, and was surprised at the girl's response. I think it's good to try strange tactics. Crash and burn or kick a goal, you can only learn from it.

donjuanforever - high quality stuff right there! and i agree (seemingly as always) with everything u said, especially about that not waiting 2 weeks for the paperwork to be done thing, but the #1 reason i called her rite away was cuz i didnt even get to introduce myself to her!
so i figured id give her a call and tell her my name at least, but seemingly its backfired now, but that dont matter, its just good to kno that WE CAN GET #s WITHOUT EVEN TRYING, and i cant believe how much psycho-analysis there is here about people getting #s.
btw, in all my successes with girls, i actually almost never cold approach on the street (usually its clubs, internet, parties, thru friends), so this was almost a kinda of new thing for me
