wall street pushes their "it" broads. they tell sappy dudes who is supposed to be hot and the sappy dudes say, "damn, she is a hottie." they slap her ugly mug on men's magazine covers and place her in a few commercials and there you go.
the american market always pushes older, busty, heavier broads who are celebrities. cameron diaz, demi moore, etc. whatever.
even victoria secrets is a joke. those broads were "it" girls a decade ago in the high fashion industry. they were being had by a bunch of older swarthy model managers. having spent enough time in a few places that produce oodles of high-fashion girls i can tell you that your "movie stars" and "rock stars" are in the back of the line so to speak
i will also say that if you like the long elegant looking look, you should head to the former evil empire.

great example of what i am saying. boyfriend was a married model manager when she was 15 (when she was big in the fashion world), victoria secrets/sports illustrated in 20's, dated rock star in 20's, married media mogul in 30's, gap ads when she is a mommy.
