Get paid to bang a hottie, go all over her face, and get paid? WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?
Keeping my dignity. There's more to life than simply trying to have as much sex as possible.
There is a downside. What if someone who knows you or knows of you happens to watch the video that you performed in? Can you imagine the damage it'd have on your social reputation? Some people are seriously turned off by it. Hopefully an interviewer for a job you want didn't see the video... Or worse, your boss. He'd never look at you in the same way again.
It sounds like something that would come back to metaphorically bite you in the ass later on.
Despite this downside, I'm sure there are many men who would still be willing to do this. So, I wouldn't be surprised if someone who wants to do this would have to do something less desirable first, such as: Fat women, scat (ugh! I want to throw up after typing that), group (as in many men to one woman), or the ultimate degradation....homosexual porn!.
Even if I was very short-sighted and not camera shy (namely, not caring about the consequences), I would still refuse to do it if I had to engage in gay sex (the ultimate degradation) before doing so. Plus the potential social implications would be 10,000 times worse than someone recognizing you in a regular porn video (one man, one woman).
NOTE: I've never worked in the pornography industry, so this is all a guess. But it's an educated guess, and it makes sense to me.
I don't mind the getting paid part. I definately don't mind the sex with an attractive woman part.
But I do mind the potential negative implications part. Very much so.
It might sound good at a glance, but often you have to give something to get something. And in this case I'm not so sure I'd be willing to give what I'd have to give.
In some jobs, you have to give time and effort (like with college, so you can get the education you need for the job you want). In this job, you have to give away your dignity (especially if you have to start off doing the "less desireable" acts first).
I don't know about you, but I think that's a very high price to pay.
