Would you be ok if your gf was friends with her ex-bf?

But we still have mutual interests and mutual friends, so why on Earth are we supposed to be bitter enemies?
You don't have to be bitter enemies. But you don't have to be hanging out with them one on one either. That can be disrespectful to your partner, if you have one.

If any of my exes-turned-friends had a guy tell them to stop talking to me, they'd dump his ass
That just proves that you are a higher priority to her than her so called new boyfriend. Sounds like low interest to me.
If she dumps him, she's doing him a favor.

That's just exactly the attitude women want you to have. That way they can do whatever they want, with whatever guy they want, as long as they label him "friend". And if they happen to "accidentally" have sex together some time, it's okay, it was just a slip, because they're just "friends".
This attitude also allows women to accept any sort of date proposal from any new intriguing guy who may be hitting on her, as long as she labels it "going out as friends".

I'm not saying there could never be an innocent case of a male and female being "just friends" (although usually at least one of them wants something more). But accepting this kind of arrangement just sets you up for trouble down the road.

And what if an ex-bf calls her once in a while (say 6 weeks) and they do not meet?

One should listen to his own feelings. Do you feel comfortable with the situation? (whether she meets the dude twice everyday or has a phone convo with him once a year). You are the only one who decides what's acceptable to you.

If it's not acceptable to you, you tell her! In case she won't budge on the matter, I advice you to kick her to the curb. It's either that or let her walk over you...

Be willing to walk away.
