Those of us who began our DJ transformation with the discovery of this site would still probably be stumbling blindly through AFC land, intoxicated by the soul-mate myth, and ultimately burning out in broken relationships. A few of us might find a way out and somehow assimilate a DJ mindset through other means, but definitely not everyone.
Social networks have expanded everyone's ability to connect to different social circles and find potential mates. Unfortunately for beta males this doesn't matter much; online or offline, they are going to repel most females with their AFC behavior. Females are the largest benefactor of this digital transition because an attractive AFC female is never going to repel most males, she's just going to expand her circle of options like crazy and create all sorts of competition. Things like facebook and MySpace make it so easy for a girl to shop around for "upgrades" or "replacements", and also to unrealistically inflate her self worth to "goddess" status by parading herself around a community and fishing for validation from weak betas. (I.E. Camwh*res, etc)
The internet is a huge catalyst for both positive and negative change but overall I think it tips things slightly in the favor of women. The main difference for alphas is that it reduces the amount of what we consider to be faithful, "quality" women.
