Harder if there was no net. If you actually read how to. I'm sure thousands of men all over the world are on the internet looking up how to attract women. Years ago men didn't have this luxury.

The internet stops people from going out too. That should be noted.

Easier. The internet connects women to more guys and feeds AWs like nothing else. Women now have more options as well as more unique ways to connect to such options.

For us, harder, since there'd be no Sosuave and we'd still be AFC's sending girls flowers and chocolates to confess our feelings. However, since there'd be no online hookups then girls who want a ride would frequent bars more often, so we'd have a slightly higher chance of getting lucky (because it would just be luck). That said, hot girls still rarely use the internet for hook ups.

Where I come from, the advice found on this website is not that original.

My mother of all people taught me to "act like I don't care" and "be dangerous" to attract women. And to dump chicks if their interest level drops ASAP, etc etc. But I guess for every person like me there's 20 kids that were brainwashed and lied to.

I think the internet and huge cities give chicks a bigger variety of guys to choose from, so alpha males tend to get lucky more often like this. Chumps/ugly/AFC types on the other hand have a more difficult time because the girls can wait to find an alpha or something resembling one.

So in my view it just means there's a different distribution, but at the end of the day, everyone no matter of gender wants to get laid.

Back in the 40's. There was not as much technology as their is now. Most guys / young men were out working, farm work, fishing, hunting, going out side doing things.

They didn't have internet, video games, or tv. They had a the radio though. So, with nothing to do inside. They were either working or having some kind of hobbys. Roaming around town with the guys. Do you see where I am going with this?

Yeah, back in the 40's people actually DID stuff. Now people just sit around TALKING about doing stuff, or WATCHING other people do stuff (movies, television, etc...)

But honestly, it was probably about the same then as it is now, just...different. It's all about knowing how to play the game, and the game changes over the decades.

If there was no internet then I would still be a huge AFC. I came upon a file that contained most of David DeAngelo's newsletter when I tried downloading this book I needed for summer reading. I don't know where I would be right now, probably pissing off my friends by getting attached to the first above average girl I like.

Though I remember the early 90's when we had things like pogs, yo yo's, etc. All these little activities that forced us to go out and play with other kids. Those were the golden years for me and now I see kids mostly staying indoors playing online games and such.

Those of us who began our DJ transformation with the discovery of this site would still probably be stumbling blindly through AFC land, intoxicated by the soul-mate myth, and ultimately burning out in broken relationships. A few of us might find a way out and somehow assimilate a DJ mindset through other means, but definitely not everyone.

Social networks have expanded everyone's ability to connect to different social circles and find potential mates. Unfortunately for beta males this doesn't matter much; online or offline, they are going to repel most females with their AFC behavior. Females are the largest benefactor of this digital transition because an attractive AFC female is never going to repel most males, she's just going to expand her circle of options like crazy and create all sorts of competition. Things like facebook and MySpace make it so easy for a girl to shop around for "upgrades" or "replacements", and also to unrealistically inflate her self worth to "goddess" status by parading herself around a community and fishing for validation from weak betas. (I.E. Camwh*res, etc)

The internet is a huge catalyst for both positive and negative change but overall I think it tips things slightly in the favor of women. The main difference for alphas is that it reduces the amount of what we consider to be faithful, "quality" women.
