@Tenacity I believe that 98% of people who dole out advice, from the alcoholic, to the blue pill CHUMP, to the female friend or relative telling you to "bring roses on the first date", to a red pill BAD APPLE like Matt Forney. - all legitimately think they're helping you, but most of them are so misguided it's fvcking scary. Well intended or not, these people should all be avoided like the plague.
I agree as well. This is that first category I talked about. They want to help, so they just say whatever somebody else might have told them, even though they technically don't really know the answer.
The other 2%? This is the self-help/"life coach" industry in a nutshell. I wouldn't say "bad advice" because very few people will DELIBERATELY jeopardize your health, wealth, or livelihood. But they are mostly con artists who charge large sums of money to regurgitate common sense and feel-good cliches. And people fall for it. Some of these guys actually became millionaires this way.
Correct, you have these guys out there as well as those guys who don't want to share information for fear of creating competition. I will say this though to give you and everybody else something to think about. So I talked about individual income earners in the US on here before. And based on national measurements, remember the following
Top 5%:
- You're in the Higher Class if you make $100,000 - $220,000 a year, this is the top 2% - 4% of income earners
- You're in the Rich Class if you make over $250,000 per year, this is the top 1%
Now, to get into the top 5% (which I was in for 2016 BTW) you have to DO something or have something that 95% of other people are NOT doing or DON'T have. What this usually translates into is:
#1.) You having a strategic network of people that 95% don't have
#2.) You having a high demand marketplace skill that most people don't have
#3.) You selling a product in high demand that's exclusive to you
#4.) You having access to certain capital to invest that most people don't have
#5.) You having a certain type of "knowledge" that's in demand that most people don't have
#6.) You having access to a particular exclusive type of position, title, or legacy that most people dont have
What am I saying in a nutshell? 95% of people will tell you that to become successful you WORK HARD and go to SCHOOL. And that's why 95% of people are NOT in the Top 5%.
If you asked the Top 5% what it takes to be successful and they were HONEST, they would give you a list of 6 things like I just gave you, which now allows you to strategically POSITION yourself in the right areas in order to get into (and stay into) the Top 5%.
And understand, even I didn't tell you EVERYTHING lol. What I just gave you guys is a generic overview,
you still have to do the work to bring the plan into full circle......
