I'm already there, I network at events like this all of the time. I don't just meet women on OLD. The professional women fall into the same buckets as the OLD women do. At least the ones I've been meeting.

Is there SPECIFICALLY somewhere in your area that you go to, where you are meeting scores of more decent level women with no kids, good finances, good personality/attitudes, and with good looks? If so, WHERE specifically? Name the event, the place, the city, and the state.

I wouldn't say it's the right state of mind to think it, rather just to bear it in mind. There is a difference between actively thinking it, and just bearing it in mind. Nor is it the ultimate goal. At the end of the day, they are still human beings (most of them), not cattle.

Besides that, not all women are commodities. A commodity has inherent value. For me, I approach from an alternate more optimistic perspective; rather than thinking of all women as replaceable, I am simply waiting for each one to prove them self as a commodity and therefore prove their value to me.

An ultimate goal (for me) therefore is to be able to filter high quality morsels from the rest of the soup, and learn how to attract and hold their interest with minimal effort.

I'd rather get a hobby I enjoy, worrying less aboutnif a women likes it or not.

To my shame I got hung up on this idea for a while. People are not commodities. But they can treat others like commodities, and also act themselves like commodities. This is the problem with the world today, commodification due to hyper-capitalism. Rather than means to an end [commodities], people are ends in themselves. But it takes some process for people to realize this. Perhaps the best policy is to behave towards most as if they were commodities [because people are what they think], and holding those at arm's length, whilst also being open to the possibility that not everyone on God's green earth is dehumanized.

Clearly we are heading into some form of dystopia.
