Worshipping Alpha Males

Many of you here generally worship alpha males...I don't blame you as they get the hot girls, etc. But think to yourself if this is really productive. If you're worshipping alpha males, you are emasculating yourself. A lot of the posts I see are like this: "Texting a girl twice in a row = not Alpha" and I wonder, isn't it Alpha to just do whatever you feel like? I'm a Beta male and happy to admit it...I don't need people to judge me by how many women I have on my arm or how big my muscles are. I have a skinny frame and I'm pretty nerdy. I'm highly academic and my IQ is in the 99th percentile. For several years, I was down on myself because I couldn't get a girl to go out with me and I felt ugly. But you know what? I have a bunch of qualities that Alpha males will NEVER have. To summarize, once you appreciate the qualities you have, you won't care about being "Alpha" because you will end up finding the girl who actually likes you for you.

Don't bother with the insults, as I'm not going to read the troll responses. Just wanted to get this out there.

i do it all the time, i tell myself im a dangerous loner similar to marv from sin city or joe davola from seinfeld, when i get high by myself and disassociate from reality, fantasizing about that makes me feel a bit better about not being able have a normal gf, a social life, a career, or any reason to live whatsoever

You have an IQ in the 99% and are not an Alpha? You must rethink what an Alpha is. Have you seen Bill Gates or Zuckerberg? Tell me they aren't Alpha males. Bill Gates owns the planet. Alpha can be artistic and ugly, smart and physically weak, or a physical specimen with a low IQ. An alpha is a leader. You don't need to be an ass or have the biggest arms in the place. The guys with the biggest arms in the place are usually Zuckerberg's body guards that do what he tells them to do. Think more along the line of making quick decisions, having self pride, having good hygiene, knowing how to talk to people, ect.

But you know what? I have a bunch of qualities that Alpha males will NEVER have. To summarize, once you appreciate the qualities you have, you won't care about being "Alpha" because you will end up finding the girl who actually likes you for you.

Ya a bunch of qualities that women DO NOT find attractive. Your rationalization above is common for newer guys who are just getting into character development. They feel they will be "faking it" to get a girl because thats "not really who they are". Well let me tell you something...whats the difference between studying a school subject to improve your knowledge and studying "game" here to improve yourself? Its not about settling for the qualities you think you have...its about being the best person you can possible be. To have the BEST qualities possible. At the end of the day, being a confident guy, being in shape, being social are the best qualities to develop not only for women....but for life in general. I seriously hope you reconsider...

We have a simplified model of attraction where men are basically action heroes.

Meanwhile, paradoxically, women love emotional ****. They love expressions of emotion by men, they love openness in men, they love quirkiness in men. They love that flair that a man has by choosing his own style and doing his own weird little things.

Its often ironically some of the stuff a guy is most ashamed of or uncomfortable with, that his girlfriend will love him the most for. (assuming its not serious stuff like a history of serial murder or enormous gambling debts..).

And a lot of the masculinity we are trying to 'portray' - as if we have to stamp across our foreheads that we have penises - a lot of that masculinity is something they just innately sense. They smell masculinity like a coffee-fiend smells coffee in the morning. They don't need us to try and be masculine because they already feel it in us, just in our simple gestures and the way our eyes move. So its been my experience that they are generally unimpressed when you show them your 'man card' by recounting whatever alligators you wrestled, or whatever. It would be like them trying to do something girly that they didnt really mean just to seem feminine.

Hell no. The world would be an even more fvcked up place if every man decided to just do whatever he felt like. If you're in a relationship with a girl you're crazy about and she suddenly breaks up with you, I bet you're gonna feel like running to her and begging for her to take you back. A real man doesn't act on whatever he feels like doing however. He decides what the most rational and beneficial option is and does that. I'm skinny, nerdy and smart too but I'd rather have both the "alpha" qualities and the qualities that they supposedly would never have.

Men should try to be alpha in the context of dealing with women. I don't consider myself a full blown alpha.. but when I'm around women I'm totally an alpha.

The world is competitive. Life is hard. If you want to wave the white flag and accept inferiority that's your business. Just leaves more cheddar and p*ssy for the rest of us.

Being beta is the easiest thing in the world. If a man wants to be beta he is free to do so. But if he wants the same respect, admiration and acceptance an alpha gets.. then he isn't being realistic.

Any time you take the easy route in life you will be respected less and admired less. That's just how it goes. You will continue to see the term "beta fag" used on this site because no one is in any rush to admire a beta.
