Working out VS rating scales.

Pretty simple question.

I have a hot or not account and am rated 7.1. I haven't really worked out in a year. I'm not fat, not skinny, not muscly, not unclean. I have severe problems with alcohol. I have a very receding hairline, which sucks. I shaved my head to overcome this.

Back on topic... I'm really interested to see what my rating will change to, after following an intense workout program and reducing my alcohol intake for 6 months. I'm going to submit a shot to hotornot on a new account, after 6 months and see what the rating will change (hopefully it goes up, at least!!).

So a question for all you DJs out there.. how much do you think it's possible to add to one's rating scale by working out at the gym? Assuming the guy didn't start off being a skinny, scrawny guy or fat, lazy guy.

You are a 10,,don't mind what the others think of you. It's not important. Wake up,,and convince yourself you are a 10,,and that everything today will be simply wonderful!

1) you FEEL like a 10
2) you ACT like a 10
3) others in return will look up to you and think of you as a 10.

But don't be ignorant, because all of us have room for improvements.

Great advice. If you feel like a 10 and act like a 10 , others will think you're a 10.

A better place, a better time.
A lot, but I don't think it's going to be quite so visible in pictures.

Also, 6 months isn't enough. To make any SERIOUS improvements in your physique you're going to need 1.5-2 years of solid, hard work done right. Anything beyond "losing the beer belly" or "toning up" is going to take that long, at least.

No, I'm old enough to know better.

All good advice "feel like a 10", act confident. Nearly everyone knows these things. But this isn't what the thread was asking at all. I am talking 100% physical appearance. Looks DO matter, to a lot of people. If you choose to live in ignorance of that, you're holding your own game down.

Furyguy, have you ever heard of Gym Jones?

Also if you act like you are 10, (like the author of this post), others will think you are 10.

Seriously, hot or not is a load of pure bull.

I can tell you this-- it is a lot easier for you to get results in the gym if you have bigger motivations than simply vanity.

Think of it as developing your discipline, building character, and setting goals. This will keep you motivated longer.

1) get into the gym
2) kill the alcohol consumption. IF you can't drink under control and in moderation then it's none at all.
3) Why do you care how others see you? You know what you have to do so do it and then you'll feel a hell of a lot better.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

I know this. I went to the gym regularly (3-4 times a week) for 3 years in my late teens/younger 20's. What does this have to do with the original post?

No-one has actually answered the post itself and instead is trying to give me all this advice I didn't ask for. I can browse the forum and articles myself... The question itself has nothing to do with "what can I do to become a more attractive man?". I'm comfortable with myself, believe it or not.

2) Trying to work it down. Got into a habit of drinking a lot when I was depressed last year. Was binge drinking every night of the week until around a month ago where I cut it down to 1 or 2 nights.
3) Trust me, I'm there. Heading there now in fact. And a duathlon tomorrow, huhu. Go me.
