I've been reading The Rational Male and there was a part talking about women's online dating profiles.

I never thought about how bold, openly vain and demanding a lot of their profiles are until then. They list requirements and expectations that are expected to compliment them. If a guy were to do the same thing he would be considered self centered.

I thought about changing my profile by adding requirements such as:
- No single moms.
- Must have a good job.
- Must be shorter than 5'7.
- Hips must be wider than upper torso.
- No feminists
- Only hobbies more interesting than shopping.
- No women over 30.

Ask me anything! Mature minded women only.

You can, just make sure you do it with some humour, i.e.

We might get along if:

You're one of the three remaining women on Earth that aren't into yoga.

You suspect that travel might not be the mystical, life-changing experience that everyone makes it out to be. No really, please, tell me more about your amazing experiences with the amazing people of Amazingland......ZZZZZzzzz

You're not convinced that Game of Thrones is mankind's crowning achievement as a species.

You detest crowds (ugh, people!).

You're not pathologically "bubbly".

Your profile doesn't read like a self-help manifesto.

You're able to express your aversion to one night stands without resorting to Caps Lock.

These are good.

ugh that would work if there were any women on dating sites who could actually meet those criteria but sadly there aren't. It's still very much the dregs, girls who don't have boyfriends for good reasons i.e. they're dumb or *****y or severely unhealthy, maybe a combination.

I gotta love the ones that say "I only date guys over 6'0 because I wear heels a lot". B*tch, are you nuts? I'm 6' anyway, but I'd skip right over a profile that said that. Oh, and EVERY chick is into crossfit or yoga. Every. Single. One.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Ooo another bitter rant. Nice work OP.

Any nutball can write anything he or she wants online. Doesn't mean they're going to get a date (or a boyfriend, or husband, or whatever) out of it.

In my 12+ years of online dating, I've perused probably 50,000 or so chicks' profiles, and only a very small percentage blatantly state a desire for physical characteristics like height (of which I'm particularly sensitive because I'm short). Maybe 2-3% say something about height or wealth or job or something shallow but that's about it.

More say something about being "treated right" or the equivalent. But I'm not seeing many that are in-your-face about it all. The lower-class, less-attractive broads (with kids) are usually the most outwardly demanding. But I assume you don't give a sh*t about them anyway.

So just relax. Women ain't all out to f*ck you over man, no matter what the loons here usually write.

And stop reading The Rational Male. It'll make you hate women or at least distrust them. And if you distrust them that much then go find another hobby. What kind of nutter writes at length about topics he doesn't even like?

Be a MGTOW and truly GYOW.

Yes indeed, alot of them are bold, openly vain and demanding. Also look at their ages and look at the fact that they're dating online. These girls are single for a reason...because they are demanding ****buckets and nobody around them has the guts to tell them to get off their high horses and stop demanding Brad Pitt circa 1994 to walk into their lives

"oh you only make $149,000 a year? Sorry my cutoff is $150,000...NEXT! Oh by the way I'm 33 and single and don't have a steady job and am still living off money my rich daddy sends me. Also I'm getting chubby."

Based on this, your profile would work on me.

TBF the simple process of putting criteria in requires people to be extra picky.
All of a sudden girls (and guys) will be going, "35, too old" etc.

I read somewhere once that putting constraints into your profile, such as specific ages or whether the other person has messaged people for no-strings sex can be useful. As it shows that you aren't just looking for a woman. Any woman. but a woman who meets your criteria.

Either way. It's such a numbers game and a timesink.

What I'm Looking For: Someone who hates the same things I hate.

Seriously.

One time, and one time only, I came across a very cute girl who took a really clever, snide shot at all the travel junkies online - and I damn near fell in love (swoon!).

Because this - "Hallelujah, you'll be glad to know that I have never 'raised awareness' for anything."

Is a lot more compelling than - "Hey. How are you. I too enjoy the music of Arcade Fire."

I think the shared, mutual hatred thing really drills down to your respective world-views as well, 'interests' are more superficial in a way.

Way to exaggerate. Not all women use online dating. I specifically said "some". That means not all. So why would you conclude that I'm referring to all women?
