Women no longer make me happy

I've been watching this thread and I have to tell you that I feel exactly the same. Fact, check out my post here: http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=219971

But I wanted to touch on something that a few of you have mentioned. That is the idealism of love, or what we all expected love to be when we were younger. Okay, now that we've all grown up we realize it isn't at all what we were taught. Okay, fine. However, I can say that even though I no longer believe in "love" the way it was taught to me, I can definitely say that I've been "in love" 2x in my life. Here's a hot one: I wasn't ever in love with my ex wife. BUT....I'm grateful for the other two opportunities. We're talking crazy head over heels sh!t here. Staying up all night just to look at one another kind of crap. stupid? Foolish? Call it what you will. Like I said, even though I can no longer indulge myself this way, I am grateful for this experience that I had. How many people in the world never had something like that happen to them? Must be pretty sad.

Which leads me to another topic: prostitution. As men, what we are looking for in a woman, is the type of unconditional love that mama gave us. Believe it or not, it's true. As we gain experience, we realize this is impossible. I was speaking about this with a friend of mine and we both kind of realized that a prostitute will provide the illusion of this love for a fee. I'm talking bout a pricey escort or call girl. Seems to me, if you can afford it and you realize it's only a game to play for the hour or night or whatever, that you can get your "fix" of unconditional love, however illusory, without all of the drama and bullsh!t.

jimjam, I have to agree with you. People look down their noses at indulging yourself like that. You know, its not that I can't game like that, its exhausting. You know, I don't like dancing. I like working out and usually, being by myself. People are fickle at best and women are usually worse than that. One day they like you, the next they don't. Chasing that seems like a fruitless endeavor to me. If I have lots of free time, maybe the chase would be appealing. With a career, my own growing business, chasing seems like a pointless frustration. Like it or not, its easy for women and difficult for men. Its like putting the trash out, if you put it out, the garbage man will come and get it. Its not like that for guys, even the best looking guys still have to seek it out. A few hours of whatever you want, for an agreed upon price up front, without all of the drama? Sign me up, please.

Thanks for all the replies. Some really good advice here. It feels good to know that many men can relate.
On the topic of prostitution, i dont know if that can replace the ego gratification of bagging a real chick. But maybe im wrong.
