Don't go on a sidetrack and turn this into a "whether a man should hit a woman" thread. That's for another discussion.
What we have here is something that actually is being noticed by people. Aimed advertising, but the message is deterimental this time.. I bet if you go into some of those big companies marketing boardrooms you would be shocked. They know what they're doing. They've researched it forever and the reason they put out commercials and advertise the way they do is because they can make a buck. No big surprise there. They aim at weak-minded people, so the weak-minded people buy into their strategy and then buy their products because of this. Example: Axe. These guys say that because you wear their deodorant that chicks will like you because you smell good. Smelling good is always good, but I'd rather rely on myself than the way I smell because of their product.
Yes, more women are moving up into higher positions that have more power, and that correlates into change; change in the form of what gets put out into our sphere of our world. But we don't have to be affected by it. We can try to turn this around but society isn't ready for it. I wish it was, but there's too much going on for people to accept our mindset.
On a sidenote. I told my girl I like how she's girly and feminine. She smiled while she painted her toenails. Seek the good ones.
