IMO lot of the new time chicks r under socialised if they re demanding this. That leads to mindless horrors like restaurant meals and (shudder) the mall. If yr wise and found yourself a quiet girl. Then b wise again and make sure she has some interests of her own. Just my 2 c. I didn't stay married so not presuming to lecture the wifed up members yr doing better than me.

i like to eat out too. guys act like the only reason they ever go out to eat is because women want to. I love going out to eat. getting out the house. i like good seafood. a good well done steak, etc.

i have a fascination with chilis lol. we go there probably 2-3 times a month

I agree almost entirely with Speed Dawg's philosophy on this issue, although my dislike of generalisations and literal thinking leads me to point out not everyone loves/likes to eat out.

As other's have said above, it can be a huge waste of time.
Most people seem not to notice just how much more expensive it is than eating in, and how the regularity of doing so really piles up to a significant amount in a month or a year (and if you consider the long-term it is compoundedly worse).

On a personal cost/benefit analysis it makes little sense.
Actually in general I don't care so much about eating (in or out), but I realise I'm probably a big exception on that point.

I have a friend that thinks just like you. We argue incessantly about many things only to find out we generally agree on the end, just not the means.

I just released my gf of 21 months because she has not cooked for me for 7 months but complains I dont take her out all the time to eat, or enough.....lazy and a princess. show some worth or you are gone. the girl doesnt even cook for her child who she has half the week, guys PAY attention to the red flags early, its GOOD to judge, i thought i was being too judgemental and just overlooked at these things...

Ur not being too judgmental at all. Women in the 1960's would have found it ridiculous that a women did not routinely cook for her man. The slogan " the way to a mans heart is through his stomach" used to be common wisdom. Females these days have forgotten this. They don't bring any value to the table other than sex.
I blame the baby boomer generation. They did not pass on the lessons that their parents gave to them. These girls parents never taught them how to please a man. This is why they are all single. How can you raise a daughter not to cook for her man? This has been an essential trait of being female ever since we still lived in caves. We are expected to be strong emotionally, financially, physically and take them out to eat yet we get nothing in return except sex.

These girls think that eating out makes them sophisticated. No it does not. They have to realize that they are not minor celebrities. You made the right decision to dump her bro. Im in the process of dumping mine too.

Thanks man I appreciate it and you are right. The thing that bothers me is that her mother cooks and cares for her dad and family properly. She even complained her mom shouldnt be treated like a slave. I said are you kidding me, your mother is full filled and takes pride in taking care of her husband and your brothers and you . She doesnt do it because she is a slave she does it because she has dignity and is nurturing and caring to her family. Yet this girl doesnt do ****. I cant tell you how many times I was over and her mother told her to make me a plate of food. It was a tough decision as you become so close but nearly two years into it I have asked for growth for near ten months and there has been none. Anything that is worth while takes effort and clearly this girl did not think I was worth while. Here she is with a pain in the butt 4 year old kid, a crazy ex who has illegitimately called cps on her 2x since I have been around (just to cause trouble) and taking her to court for full custody stating that she is unstable and he doesnt want his daughter around smoke....Long story short wait TWO years to marry a girl because it takes that long to get to know someone. I recently found out she was a smoker for 6 years, didnt know that, she was a pot head for 4 years daily, and that she SMOKED during her pregnancy....After learning this and seeing no change I am out. What a shame to because I am levels above this girl and she knows it, even made comments from time to time I am better than her. I told her i choose to be my best everyday in every way and she should too. She never did, just bitched and complained like a princess and never offered anything...The shame is her mother is the perfect example of a wife and mother and she has taken nothing from her...That I just dont get.........Sorry to ramble but thanks for the support

I've heard so many women say "my mother never taught me to cook". It's like they are a Borge collective and all got the same message and all say it.

I had an ex ef move in with me in 06 who said it, and my response was "My mother only taught me how to cook for one person" . Thats actually not true but I held if over her head and made her think that it really was.

We got ****ed in this day and age of the lazy and worthless woman. What can they offer besides sex and at that honestly they have no desire to be good or pleasing. In fact they think they can use their ***** as bargaining. It is even in the bible for a woman not to with hold affection from their husband out of spite , resentment or anger. Women take no pride in taking care of their man or family these days. The reason being that divorce is now no longer looked down upon but is common and secondly there are so many ***** orbiters out there they know they can have another chump lined up immediately. I'll just tell a girl I don't feel like eating out, I'll never say it's about the money though. I just don't feel like it... I will back that up with buying something healthy to eat at home. I do offer an alternative always..
