A big turnoff is women that like to eat out all the time on your dime. I am dating a new girl now. My BPD ex is history finally. This new girl (I've known for many years now) likes to eat out at super nice places. Super nice= super expensive. Its like they want to live a lifestyle that they can't afford. But somehow you are supposed to magically afford that lifestyle. When you explain to them that you can't keep this up, they secretly look at you as a cheapskate.

Almost all women like to be wined and dined. Almost all will continue to expect this treatment if you don't nip it in the bud early. What ever happened to cooking at home! This is why our generation is always broke. No one wants to cook. The restaurants are the new club as my sister explained.

My sister explained that the reason that women like to go out to eat all the time is that it is status oriented and its social. You can dress up, and call your friends and get waited on hand and foot. She agrees that it is stupid and expensive.

Eating a $13 meal to me tastes just as good as eating a $20 dollar entree. I am very simple and frugal. I spend on clothes and maybe a decent car. Thats it. I hate spending on food that ur gonna crap out in 30 mins anyway. This foodie culture is perpetuated by chicks.

Donald Trump once said that he rarely eats out because it's a waste of time. I happen to agree. It's not just a money thing - it's a pretty stupid activity if you think about it. It's okay to go to restaurants to celebrate special occasions or have a business lunch. But dining out regularly because as a recreational activity is pretty lame. Find yourself a real hobby.

Women who like to eat out all the time give off red flags of being a financial wreck and/or extremely lazy. There's lots of women out there who have a conscience when it comes to spending. Find one of those and dump this one.

I am fortunate to be with a woman now who appreciates a good home cooked meal. We eat in 95% of the time we are together, and she often buys the food we cook.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

+1 on the cooking at home. I travel a lot for work so I eat out a lot. When I am home I have no desire to dine out.

My fiance likes to cook too. I grill and my girl makes the sides. On Sundays she asks me to grill up a bunch of meat for her and the kids to eat on all week. She makes d@mn near everything from scratch. Hummus, cole slaw, meatballs, etc. Nothing frozen or from a tub. It's cheaper AND better for you.

I wouldn't be with a woman who didn't cook.

Such a timely post. The woman I'm with just started *****ing about how we don't go out to eat enough. She said "it's something missing in our relationship that she's had with all the others". She's an amazing cook. I hate going out to eat. It's a waste of time and money.

Then let her label you a cheapskate.
If she breaks up with you, then let her break up with you.
Men always mold themselves for women. It's time grow a spine and say no to that, even it could mean you become dateless.

This.

And to add to one of the other comments, she likes to eat out because she doesn't know any better. A woman first and foremost likes to be with a strong MAN. The Where is secondary. I believe all women 'like to eat out', I've dated women who's 'likes' have changed though, because when we would go out, she realized she'd have to share me with other people - my attention would be divided. She would also be paying for part or all the bill, but that's another topic all together.

When all else fails, follow the The Cardinal Rule: Do what YOU want to do. This will make you the leader and her the follower, therefore this will, in itself, make you more attractive. Then, instead of liking to go out, she will be liking whatever it is you want to do.

Make sense?

This is why you should date girls who are into cooking. Of course this seems to be rare these days but they are out there. And I don't just mean girls who'll quickly whip something up. I'm talking about the kind who love to try new recipes that they know you'll love.

A girl always goes up at least 1 point on the HB scale if she can prepare a great meal. It's also a major green flag. Cooking food for someone is a very nurturing act.

My current girlfriend totally love to cook for me, that's because she knows I'm an awesome cook, so she is always looking up for my approval, knowing that I can destroy her with a word.

Agreed! I had a women like that recently.

Now the women didn't know this but I'd been seeing another who right off the bat paid her way, and I never had to ask her to or hint at it.

In my mind I compared the two of them and the one who paid her way got way more respect.

When women act like I have to pay for them I just start to treat them like a liability.

Also they often have no idea about money, their own finances are a bit of a wreck and they have no respect for the way you handle your own finances. They can only use the word cheapskate to describe a man that lives within his means.

Oh man, so much potential in this topic.

I see women (and some men) all the time that say they just LOVE to do the following things:

1) Shop
2) Eat out

Guess what, I LOVE to do that too. It's fun to spend money, at least short term. But this isn't a unique trait, EVERYONE LOVES TO DO IT. It's not that anyone does or doesn't want to spend money, they just CAN'T OR WON'T. Either because they don't have it (which nowadays doesn't matter, see the mounting debt) or because they CHOOSE not to do it. It takes DISCIPLINE not to do those things consistently, for everyone. That's why so many people that hit it big quickly go broke. Discipline is learned.

Back to eating out, I like to do it reasonably. Of the 21 meals I eat per week, I usually eat out 3 of them. 2 are fairly cheap, like a sandwich place (under $10), and 1 is a little more expensive where I'll spend $50 max on my family. I like to go out in public a little bit from time to time.

Once or so per year, I'll got to an expensive restaurant, but it's always one that I am 100% certain has excellent food. Never just a ritzy status place.

I'll echo what most of the rest have said. Eating in is one of the easiest and quickest ways to save money. Sure it's not always as fun as eating out, but that's where the discipline comes into play. Remember, ALL women (and all PEOPLE for that matter) will allow themselves to be wined and dined if they can. It's just human nature. Some are worse than others.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I think cooking is more fun than eating out. I like to see what kind of stuff I can throw together. The problem comes when I'm exhausted from work, or I have a busy day. Those are the times when I will eat out, and it's usually something quick and convenient. The only time I usually eat somewhere more expensive is when I'm eating with somebody. It's nice to have some other people cooking for you once in a while, but I cannot for the life of me say that it's more "fun".

I try to keep it to a 2 to 1 ratio, she has to be a damn good cook as well!

Sharkbeat nailed it, woman should be molding themselves to US not the other way around.

1-2 times a month tops and I'm light eater so we are usual splitting something. If she's hungry and want her own then we are going dutch. Woman rarely eat left-overs so there's no reason to get her a 10 to 15 dollar plate when she might eat half of it. Hellz f-ing NO, not going to happen.

Usually when I go out to eat it's part of another activity. We'll be in another city on a holiday or doing something or other, and somewhere during that we'll stop in somewhere to eat. If it's something novel or unavailable where we live so much the better. It's just a matter of spending some time doing something and hey, we may as well get something to eat while we're here, partly a matter of getting hungry.

I'm not talking about casual dating though, since I'm usually in a LTR. I probably wouldn't care for it with a bunch of strangers/women I'm trying to get to know, or just bang, or whatever.

my wife has this, she likes to eat out, but not so much now with 2 kids it's a hassle unless we get a babysitter. still we eat out at least 2 times a week

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.
