Did a bit of daygame this morning when getting coffee and number closed this cute brunette who moved here from Maryland. Just been thinking back to all the women I have worked with from Maryland and even gamed from there. They seem to have this mix of a down to earth chill vibe without any of the religious hang ups that women from southern states have. I also don't notice the same toxic behaviors in them that I do women from Jersey and NY.

Anyone from there want to offer some thoughts?

It may depend on from where in Maryland. Baltimore is a down to earth, blue collar town without the NYC/Manhattan inferiority complex. The DC suburbs would presumably be affected by the DC dating scene. And Cumberland is a practically a suburb of Pittsburgh lol.

@BillyPilgrim nailed it. Washington DC has one of the most toxic mating environments in the USA. Toxic mating environment tend to produce pickup artists. Roosh and Heartiste emerged from the DC scene in the 2000s and Mystery came out of Toronto. Internationally, a number of pickup artists have emerged from London, which isn't an easy scene.

I haven't heard a lot about Baltimore, but it can only be better than DC.

I'd describe it like that too although Maryland is considered one of the richest states in the US.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

Thanks to our tax dollars :) Not a surprise Roosh et al hate on DC for game, these are self-important women with a penchant for spending other people's money. Like when a girl says she's from California, Texas, New York or Florida, it behooves you to also ask "where exactly"?

This is true. It would be applicable for Maryland, but less so since Maryland is a small state. Most of Maryland's population is concentrated around Metro Baltimore and the outskirts of DC. It's only about 40 miles from Downtown Baltimore to the US Capitol Building in DC. Everything in between Baltimore and the Districts are suburbs and exurbs.

It would be possible to meet a Maryland gal who didn't grow up around the Baltimore-DC corridor or didn't live there.

In Texas, women who've lived outside of the big 4 metros (Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin) tend to have more pleasing and feminine attitudes. In DFW, women on the Fort Worth side are generally more pleasant in interactions than women living on the Dallas side.

Occasionally in Dallas, you'll meet a woman who spent her formative years in a smaller Texas town and has kept that smaller town attitude. However, I've also met small town Texas women who move to Dallas and become super pretentious and superficial Dallas women.

As much flak as DC women get, IMO the city with the most psychotic women has been NYC and I am not talking about the transplants. Long Island and NJ produce by far the most entitled and toxic women in the country if not the planet. It is that radical feminism mixed in with brash masculine combative demeanor and excessive entitlement. At least the women in DC have some class to them and will just kindly turn you down. The women of NYC will try to get stuff from you and get a SIMP or sucker in their circle to fight you.

IMO, women from NJ and Long Island who are of Italian or Eastern European descent are without question the worst mix of elitist, trashiness, ratchet, and toxicity out there.

I'm not sure how you can make wide general statements when you have only interacted with like 0.0000001% of Maryland's women.

The better statement would be the women I have met from Maryland are like that considering there are far more women that you haven't met from there than you have met.

What's the (ballpark figure) sample size of these Maryland women Jesse?

Man haha....okay guys I generalized based on my experiences over the years with women from Maryland. I have known about over 15 of them which isn't a lot, especially since I haven't lived in a major city in the state, but that has been what I have observed. Once again I could be completely wrong and just happened to meet thee 15 out of millions who were chill girls. Chill is also relative, I said that compared to other women on the east coast they are pretty relaxed which is odd given how intense the east coast vibe is.

But I get it, we are in a politically correct cancel culture age so I can't generalize groups of women now.

Nothing to do with politically correct or cancel culture, has to do with it not even making sense to do so based on the small number you have experience with

I think over 10 is enough experience and I never said that it was fact, I said that it has been my experience and observation, even inviting others to challenge me on it to see if I may have run into certain kinds of women from the DMV area.

Well if you met a dozen women in various settings from Southern California who struck you as being phony, don't you think that's enough to draw an inference?

Do we need a sample of 10,000 or something? lol

No not really. Unless you want to hold a very biased opinion that has a very high chance of being not based on reality.

That's why you don't form opinions based on very small sample sizes and keep an open mind.

Interesting. I have never been to Maryland as an adult, only when I was 11 with my parents. But I have met some women in my area who were from there. Older women in specific, like 50+ YO. I have found them to be entitled, bossy, and demanding. Never would have guessed any of them could be chill. Good to hear.

Were they from the DC area? That would make a difference.

You can still be aware of generalities while simultaneously keeping an open mind. There's nothing wrong with opinions based on samples as long as they are not strong opinions. In the bigger picture, there is a war on against pattern recognition, which is a key cornerstone to intelligence.

Generalities and exceptions can simultaneously exist. We as a society have gone from recognizing only generalities, to not recognizing them at all. Back in the 80's and 90's people were open minded and also had common sense, and it would be nice to get back to that. It's clear from the events of the past two years that the majority of people in the western world have substantial issues with pattern recognition.
