Women assault male waiter (VID)(WTF!)

This was painful for me to watch. Two women assault a waiter for not bringing them the right beer or something. It made me cringe how the guy just stood there and took it, and how the women were so out of control.

The women totally remind me of the girl in the famous "How can she slap" video. It must have something to do with pre-arranged marriages and a beta culture in India that is producing women like this.

This is not beta behavior at all. This is what's wrong with this forum, people just go around calling everything "beta". The guy WORKS FOR THE RESTAURANT. What do you think he should do, hit her back? That would be THE WORST possible reaction. The best thing to do in that scenario is let them vent and let them win so you can keep your job and not cause a problem. What I'm saying here is so ridiculously obvious...

What do you think he should do, hit her back? That would be THE WORST possible reaction. Tough scenario for the waiter but he shouldn't just sit there and take it. At the very least they should be kicked out of the restaurant and/or the police called.

OP was referring to beta because he just let these women do their thing and moved on (ran away) when the manager stepped in. Then the manager just sat there and took it too....

Well, the manager told the guy to step out of it, so what could he do? This is a fairly normal technique when dealing with aggravated people - if they are upset with an individual, have them remove themselves while someone else tries to handle it. Anyway, it wouldn't really be professional for him to hit a customer.

I agree they should have been thrown out. But turns out they left anyway. With a name like "Beer Factory", alcohol fueled incidents like this probably aren't that rare.

I'm not saying hit the customer back, but, he just seemed to sit there like a rag doll and let them do there thing, like I said, tough situation for the waiter. Customer stops being right once they put their hands on me. What if it was a guy doing that? When would it be appropriate for the waiter to turn into a bouncer and throw them out the door?

Hind sights 20/20 and it's easy to analyze a situation like this when you have time to think about it. But that kind of $hit should not be tolerated...at all. The second they start getting physical with the staff, they should be kicked out....time for talking and chit chat is over.

As a bartender myself I definitely understand that it is a tough call dealing with customers like this. I myself have never grabbed or fought a customer, but we had a rough crowd at the last bar I worked at and there were many fights. Broken beer bottle fights, biker fights, etc. We had a girl run behind the bar once screaming and bleeding. My boss would ALWAYS jump in and throw people off when they got into fights. He once escorted a guy out for fighting and then pushed him out onto the street.

So when it gets physical you can defend yourself reasonably. I would NOT have hit the girls. I never would unless there is a weapon involved. But I would have restrained one and tried to calm her down, and I would not have backed down. The guy backed down, and they saw that he was weak and easy to bully.

This is when I would get "agro" with stupid females. If I were the first guy, the minute they raised their voices I would have turned my back, walked the other way, and headed straight for the manager. If I were the manager, I would have told them to calm down or get out. The minute they started yelling beyond that point I would have yelled at the top of my lungs for them to get the F#ck out of there, while quickly raising my arm to point to the door. When a man screams and moves makes a quick move, it's intimidating enough for any woman to start listening. The day I let a female disrespect me like that. That's the day.
