This site can be a friend to you, and offer you solace in time of need... It can make you learn how to argue and agree with specific threads....On the other hand you can use it to fukk the shytt out of women you were intimidated to talk to back in the day..

I choose the later, and because I owe no type of explanation to anyone, I would recommend heartily that some of you try it..

Apparently, there must be other Pooks running around on the forum again. I keep saying there is no philosophy with women, bashing the wonderful land of theories, making posts telling people that to even go out there and FAIL is better than hatching new 'theories' on the female, and what do I read?

This is what is frustrating. I am saying 2 + 2 = 4 but The Edge is saying that I said 2 + 2 =5.

I think what the Edge is trying to say is that you gotta put it all into practice, no point just reading this site if you don't go out and use the info, you gotta go out and do it, you know, it's the whole, knowing the path and walking the path distinction.

And that much I agree with.

There's only so much theory that needs to be done, the rest can be learnt in practice.

But don't revolve you're life around women, that's never a healthy thing. Sure put all your focus into your approaches and all but still have a normal life.

The problem with making women your first priority is that you may end up neglecting a lot of other things that are important. If you're a student, you probably need to concentrate on your schoolwork, or all that money that's being put into college will go down the drain. If you have a job, you need to focus on that, because if you aren't doing it sufficiently, you may find yourself without a source of income. If you have a reasonably functioning family, maintaining relationships with them is important, because they are the ones who will still accept and care for you when no one else will. These things need to take precedence, otherwise you may find yourself a very poor, lonely individual.

I admit that I have a tendency to put my women troubles before everything else in my life, to the point where I have difficulty concentrating on other stuff like school, or enjoying simple things like family and friends. I've become quite an unhappy person. That's where the danger lies in putting women so high up on your list. The idea is that if you concentrate on other things, you can more easily deal when something goes wrong in your love life (or whatever you want to call it).

Girls are just an oranment, they make life better, there are many other parts of life that I think deserve much more attention. I want to become a force to be reckoned with, to do so I need to focus on changing my personality. Once I do this, I can get any girl I want. Like I would go crawling around on my knees in desperation to a GIRL! YEAH RIGHT! I WILL be the dominant force in the relationship, the man, I do not have all those things, I get them, then I focus on girls. But unless I dive right in, how am I ever going to change? I am NOT. For the record it was a false alarm (and it was a BJ not a f*ck). It was pretty freakin' scary though and it definitely changed my outlook on things.

It's not about finding the woman to make yourself happy. Its about making yourself happy to find the woman.

Difference between typical players stuff and Pooks stuff is Pook focuses on bettering himself first and then letting the women come to his newer better self.

Whereas the player mentality is to become what the girl wants so you can get laid.

Both methods work problem with the player mentality is that if you ever do find that one you want to keep your going to have to pretend to be someone your not the rest of your life because thats who shes attracted to...once you become yourself the woman is going to see a different person and see that you were acting your way into her pants and its all over from there.

Whereas the place that Pooks at in his life focuses on him doing the things he wants to do, doing what makes himself happy without a woman then finding the woman that wants to be in the world that makes him happy. There is no acting involved so there is no guard to keep up and there is no particular reason for the girl to resent the fact that he acted his way into her pants because he didnt and if shes happy living in the world Pooks created for himself shes gonna be around for a long time.

This essentially is the difference IMO between a player and a natural. If your happy ****ing different woman all the time without ever having a meaningful relationship with any of them then by all means be a player but if your getting older and looking to settle down then being a player is going to be your biggest downfall.
