Woman's Insulting Condescension!

The attitude of some women! Today I had an interview this one woman who by virtue of her privileged backround saw fit to treat me like a piece of s**t she scrapped of her heels. She seemingly enjoyed subtly talking down to me and insulting the lower-middle class neighbourhood I live in, the car I drive, and my parents' blue-collar background. And all because she gets around in a nice BMW and is living an oh-so-rosy life due to the silverspoon shoved up her a-hole from birth.

Where the **** do people get off treating others like this? I suppose what pisses me off the most is the fact that I just sat there and pretended not to pick up on her attitude. And even though I wanted to spit VULGAR MALICE at her FAT A**, I just sat there like a d!ckhead for 30 minutes and left without standing up for myself because I feared the repercussions of such an outburst. I now feel down, frustrated and pissed off for not giving as good as I got! :cuss:

Oh well, at least I wasn't a big enough fool to leave the interview saying, "Thank you for your time."

Strangely enough, In decades past, people of lower social station were not allowed into the upper crust of society...at all. Only in present times are you allowed to have any interaction of any type.

So, one might say that the fault lies with your assumption that you somehow deserve to be treated as an equal. You are not equal. A persons value is determined by the amount of natural resources he/she is able to control and or consume. You consume less, therefore your value is less. Had your value been higher, you wouldn't have noticed anything she said. Though, it is considered nouveau to outwardly proclaim ones superiority in front of a member of the peasant class. For that she should be faulted.

But also, the fact that you are insulted by it means you have some sort of insecurity regarding your stature or hers.

Also, I would guess that the fact that she was interviewing you made you feel inferior, though I can't know this.

My advice would be to examine whether you need to realign your perceptions with reality. After that, if you feel that reality is not as you would like it to be, take steps to change it.

THE TRUTH, THOUGH OFTEN IGNORED AND FEARED, IS ALWAYS RELEVANT. Even in job interviews and in "hell" where there is alot of weeping and moaning Even the toughest man to walk the earth cannot escape such a fact.
