Winter High School Clothing

Hello all!

As I have said before, I have moved.

I moved from place where it would get any colder then 0 degree's celsius (32 degree's fareeignheight) to a place where it gets to -35 degree's celsius (-31 degree's Fareignheight)

So I was just wondering. Is there any winter clothing that is fashionable for High School? Should I just wear what I wear now (Of course no shorts in september, lol) But like jeans and a shirt and just wear a jacket over top of it when Im outside? (I've never really had to use a winter jacket before, lol)

So what are your suggestions?

Yeah, thats mostly what I do.

BTW -35 C is about -70 F.

-35 C is around -32 F.

Yeah I used a Converter lol.

I do know for a fact that -40 C = -40 F

So I know I'm pretty close

Yeah, just wear a jacket over it, get a good brand jacket, something that will match with your clothes.

Either layer your cloths... it will give you that 'on display' look, like they have in the window's of stores in the mall to get you to come in and buy stuff.

OR, get some heavy duty sweaters. The new line of printed sweaters @ express are AWESOME, and look great with [you guessed it] their new line of jeans. Meneker jeans as well as a few printed jeans work well with more sophisticated looks [ie, sweaters], so take a gander.

In cold weather all I do is wear a sweater and jeans with a jacket over top. If it's really cold then I'll break some mitts or gloves and a toque. Then again I'm used to the weather so I don't find it that bad. Layering clothes will keep you warm because it'll trap air inbetween layers. Oh and I almost forgot! Don't forget your long johns! haha.

You can't really be fashionable at -35. That's just ridiculously cold. Anybody who's walking to school in jeans and a leather jacket in that weather is in an idiot and will pay for it later in life.

It gets to about half that cold where I live with lots of snow. I say put some money into a nice touque (remember something like %80 of your heat leaves your body out of your head). Also I bought a nice puffy vest last year and I used to wear it over a hoodie with a touque. Stylish and casual. I would actually recommend long-johns under your jeans when it's that temperature. That cold is gonna bite like you've never experienced. Get some gloves no matter what. If you're looking for a nice jacket and have the money go for a snowbaord style one by Bonfire, Columbia or United Riders.

Thanks. School is only about a 15 minute walk.

I have expierienced this weather many times before (I use to come down here every second winter, and I use to live around here)

So I don't think I will have to wear long john's. lol. Just limit myself from going outside too much

dayyum I cant imagine being in weather so cold. Here in Miami it never gets colder than 31.... and 31 is even rare as hell.

PS. It's not that cold all over Canada. I use to live in a place where it wouldn't even freeze.
