Hi guys. I've been practicing Muay Thai for a few months now, and absolutely love it.
The problem is, I've been noticing some huge guys in my studio that has been practicing for years. I mean.. they're huge! Their thighs are big, their arms are big, and they're just bulky in general.
I've always thought Muay Thai artists were lean and rip, due to the nature of the training. While there are skinny guys training there, I'm a little afraid I'll become huge myself. My training consists of:
Different kicks, usually 200-300.
Sit-ups in between kicks usually 100 total.
Different punches, usually 300-500.
Push-ups in between punches usually 100 total.
Free-weights, different curls. Usually 100-200.
Dynamic tension (where we hold a position that stresses the muscles, e.g: halfway down a push-up)
Techniques.
Your insights are appreciated. Thanks.
