Will I 'kick it' in England?

Hi,

A mate of mine and myself are off to England in Feb 2004 (hopefully!) to work and get drunk etc. We'll be there for about 3/4 months (maybe longer!)

The thing is: We're Irish! So i was wondering, do english girls love our accents? Do we have an advantage over you english guys when it comes to DJ-ing girls?

ANy other ways we'd be able to score easier seeing as we're irish?

I thought asking girls about famous places in the city was the best thing to do as we'd actually be learning AND talking to gals in one!

I think the thing working in your favour is Irish wit and as long as u speak clearly, they'll love the accent cos it separates u from the other lads. I'm sure cantebury is Hot for action but that's only what i've been told, your best bet is to go to the beaches for summer.

Well, i've beaten you on that one mate. 6'3,17yrs, 195lbs, bench 60kg, pretty. Chin up son, don't worry about it.
Scandinavia isn't that bad - just cold, boring, wet and dark.


Anyways, back to the subject, you'l love it in Eng-er-land silverwex - accent isn't that much of an advantage and you shouldn't really focus on it to get girls.

Obviously you are not well-informed. First of all calling someone older for "son" is rather unappropriate. Second of all scandinavia has proven the most attractive genepool in the world Scandinavia is vivid, lovely nature and great girls. England is boring not scandi.

One question for you guys, what do the Irish women think of the brits? Have allways fancied getting an Irish wife, there such a good laugh, cook, clean and pretty much do everything you need. Not like the slappers you'll find over here!

I am AMERICAN

I am a typical American dude, im in excellant shape and speak with a Jersey accent, my granparents are from Italy like all the other people living here in Jersey.

However I noticed one thing. I have yet to have met an attractive English or Irish girl. They have flat asses, they are pink with brown freakles, they are red in the face and hair, small breasts unless they are fat, in which case they are obese.

I will be honest the American girls are for the most part FAT as well, but what all us Irish, English, American, and white guys alike around the world, is marry foreign girls like Brazilians, Russians, and if your into them, Asians. They will treat us better and maintain thier girlly figures...

Silverwex, I think you will find a lot of English women do like the Irish accent, especially if it's a soft one.

A lot of English women seem to go gaga for the whole 'blarney' and Irish charm thing.

Some of the left wing student types will absolutely lap up the whole anti-British Michael Collins type stuff. You could try this at Kent University in Canterbury. Just go on about how the Black and Tans and the British government persecuted your grandfather or something.

Canterbury's ok, fairly good mix of students and locals. The thing about England is that the best looking women are in the south, but they're often quite cold. Northern women are much friendlier and 'up for it' but tend to be less pretty.

If you came to America with that Irish accents girls would eat that s*** up. Occassionally I hear girls talking about some guy they met with an Irish accent and they are like that accent is so sexy. But I dont know about if you go to England. I only went there once.

Slappers, common slang for common women. You'll find them everywhere in the UK!

In reality I'd say english women generally fall into 2 categories:

1) The easy lay slapper, generally found in the northern cities and
towns. Fat, loud and easy.

2) The shy, fit, reserved and f****** hard work middle class girl!

Take your pick but there's no real easy middle ground. Thats why the Irish girl are so sound, you can always have a good laugh with them regardless of their looks and background.

Nonetheless, Ive had a fair few Irish mates who have done well with the girls over here. If you want good looking women, Liverpool is the place. Typically blonde and by far the fittest women in the UK and a city steeped in Irish. The place to be.
