Wild suggestion here: We should develop a coach system

A guy from work gave me this idea (although him it wasn't related to the game)... We should create a list, those of us that need a coach to help us attain our short-term and long-term goals, and those of us that are willing to coach. I guess a person could coach more than one person, or also could be coached and coach at the same time.

By coaching I mean: Once the person has decided what his short-term goals and long-term goals are, and how to attain them, the coach can provide feedback, give suggestions, things to do, etc. Once the person actually start working on those goals, keep a journal, and again the coach can be there to motivate, give feedback, tips, etc. This journal can be made public (preferably) or private if the one working on his goals does not feel comfortable about the whole community knowing about it.

I think this could really help the newer members here, or those who are still struggling with their social skills/approach skills (like myself -_-), and for the more advanced users, it's an (almost) sure way to put your knowledge to good use and to know what it won't go unheard and ignored by people randomly asking for advice but that end up doing what they wanted to do all along.

If you are interested, let me know! And let me know if you would like to coach or to be coached. The first step would be to create the list, the second would be for the coachees to create their list of goals and how to attain them so that the coach can review them, and afterward, let the game begin!

And if you are interested in this, please be serious. Don't give up after 2-3 weeks, it would really suck for your coach (or for your coachee)

Anything to help beginners like me is great :). I am reading the articles everyday, learning new things everyday and put it to use whenever I can. lets see what the more experience DJs say.

I would be definitely happy to help a beginner. I can see myself working with one person though. Not 100
