It ain't just romantic comedies causing the problems. It's family, friends, television and these days the internet inculcating our expectations of women.Women are entitled, but so are men. Pathetic men make women entitled, and men become pathetic nice guys when they watch too many rom-coms. There are plenty of nice guys on this forum, still angry at the fact that their niceness doesn't get them laid. Any time you see a guy projecting anger outward into the world, he's a nice guy. That niceness is his entitlement; because learning to be 'nice' is easy, once you've watched a couple of movies and fairy tales.
We shouldn't blame women for reacting to and taking advantage of the weakness of men. In this day and age, men can very easily learn how to become successful owing to the abundance of information and advice available online. If they can't be bothered to learn, I don't care, because it means more ***** for me.
I don't think every guy feeling this way is a "nice guy". I think it's just a stage of swallowing the red pill. That is, struggling to come to terms with the state of the dating market. I would liken swallowing the red pill to the 7 stages of grief.
"Nice guys" are the ones who have yet to start the transformation.
