So my question is...do the writers of these movies understand the whole concept of AFC vs. alpha? Obviously not in pickup terms, but do they realize that the main reason their movies are unrealistic is not the unattractiveness or lack of wealth or social weirdness of the loser guy getting the girl, but the ridiculously wussy things he says to her?

I mean, the character never starts his great speech to win back the lady with "I know I may not be the most confident or most dominant guy..." it's always "I know I may not be the smartest or the best looking guy..."

Do you think the writers know that those qualities don't count nearly as much in a female's mind, or are they actually total AFCs who think that you have to be smart, rich, and good looking to get any good looking girl unless you have EPIC luck and personality like Adam Sandler, in which case none of those things matter?

They make movies like this because they know it'll make women happy. Nobody gives a **** about how men feel but if you even REMOTELY seem like you're attacking women then you better be prepared for a **** storm buddy. This is the basic standard of movies: selling people dreams. Similar to the pimp game actually but guys don't do stupid **** like this because of movies. If you already knew the game then you would just say "this is stupid" and keep it movin. If you already believe to a degree then the movies will just reinforce your beliefs. Have you guys seen that god awful movie "Can't Buy Me Love"? This guy excitedly tricked off his doe so this future fat bitch would be happy with him for the time being! He bought her a $1000 dress to make him "cool". At the end they had a relationship or whatever but in the real world it doesn't work that way AT ALL. If movies teach you anything at all, it's that people don't like reality. Why do you think **** like Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings are some of the highest grossing movies EVER?

Not even the women are accurate in the movies. Most movies happen in some fantasty land Land where all guys are AFC and the woman is gorgeous and perfect in every way, she craps rainbows and has an intuition that can predict the weather.

Terminator 2 is more grounded in reality than most romantic comedies.

I think it makes for crappy movies, but I also appreciate that movies tell guys to be AFC. Gives me an advantage.

Also, a girl I watched "The Ugly Truth" last night with a girl I'm doing. If I had known it was a chick flick, I never would have done it but whatev. The guy in the movie starts out as a total pimp who will say anything to anyone. A perfect DJ. Excellent. Then they throw in some fake sh*t about his heart being broken and he goes AFC.

I'm not entirely sure about the ending cause I just told this girl that the movie was getting stupid. But what I heard over our sex sounds pretty much catered to women.

Most movies teach us to be AFC because in the first place, the studio heads themselves are AFC's. (all movies put out must be approved by the head execs)

They might be good business men, wealthy, commanding and even almost alpha and whatnot. However, they put women on
such high pedestals that their egos can't even see past a woman's 'perfect beauty'. Moreover, some execs believe that beauty has always a price, meaning that, to get the perfect girl, you either must be : rich, good looking or a member of high society.



Yet, of course, there are exceptions.

It's not always the writer's fault. They're just getting paid to do a job. There's studio executives, producers, the director, and editors. The writer is just one part of it and they usually don't have much control over the final product.

People believe what they see on TV or in movies but it is mostly b.s. People on the street, however, will sometimes provide real information. Or at least a different perspective.

Like the saying goes, you can fool some of the people all the time, and all the people some of the time. But you can't fool all the people all of the time.

TV exists because of advertisers. If it weren't for them, you would not be receiving broadcasts that include commercials.

The overriding primary goal of advertising it to make you feel unsatisfied (crush any self-esteem) with what you currently have and to make you want more so you'll feel like a better person temporarily. They do this by making people unsatisfied and hooked on that bad feeling by doing things to get them emotionally hooked like couching it in comedy and/or drama.

Nothing about Television series commercial-oriented broadcasting is meant to seriously educate or evolve people, it's meant to get you hooked and spend your money in the way they want.

It's not negative, it's just reality. "Who Profits" aka old-school Latin "cui bono?" {---- yea, everyone wants something, get over it.

They dont "teach" you to become an AFC. It just happens that the story wouldnt work out if they put an alpha male.
Movies dont create afcs. If you're already an AFC a movie will only reinforce your afc beliefs. There are many movies out there where the hero or the alpha male gets the girl. Like James Bond. But since you're a born afc you dont take notice of those situtaions and dont learn anything from them.

But the alpha males are the ones that watch James Bond and actually learn and incorporate it into themselves. A born alpha male instinctively knows that movies like Loser are pure fantasy BS. While the AFC thinks that Loser is the real deal and thinks James Bond gets the girl purely by chance.

You're right. In reality both movies are completely based in fantasy. They're just on opposite sides. One is suave, the other is a complete wuss.

Which brings me back to my point. Movies have no credibility whatsoever but for some reason people give them credibility. Probably because they identify with the characters on the screen. The more similar the character to their own, the stronger the bond and the more reinforced their beliefs become. The AFC becomes more so, and the Alpha just keeps doing the same damn thing better.
