Why Were My Threads Closed?

Yeah, this is kind of silly. You mods can ban people or lock threads with whatever prejudice you choose. It's your right. Plus, it's just an internet message board. Nobody's expecting you to establish an Integrity Commission to ensure you're doing your jobs properly.

But let's not pretend that there is some type of decorum being upheld on this forum when, as Exception points out, there is certain language that is allowed to fly here.

It's a bit of a double standard when racist threads are so quickly locked but homophobic slurs are permitted. As is topical right now with Sochi, gay people are being persecuted, beaten, killed, and treated like lesser humans in a similar way to how African Americans were treated in decades passed. Just because there aren't (I assume) any gay posters on this forum, doesn't make it acceptable.

This is usually when the guy with tits for a username reps my post down.

EDIT: All that said, I fully support any mod that locks a thread like Rex's if, as Atom indicated, they are "degenerating into personal attacks."

Dude, don't compare being a fag to being black. It's not the same thing. Fags in Russia know their countrymen don't play that sh*t. If they want to be gay, they can be gay all they want, just do it in their homes, but you're not going to hide being black. What's f*cked up in Sochi is the euthanizing of those poor dogs.

Like I said earlier, that b*tch made mutaf*cka made a comment that shouldn't have been made on a rather person thread. So I went in on him. Dumb a$$ mutaf*cka need to keep his b.s. comments to himself. As I stated, there's a distinct difference between somebody taking offense to being called out beta male behavior and somebody taking offense some dumb muthaf*cka taking issue with tone of thread, especially when the stupid muthaf*cka seemed to lack the intellectual capacity to understand the point I was trying to convey.

If you support the moderators closing threads, when the OP goes on poster making negative comments about the tone, nature, and the context of the thread, then you sir are in the wrong.

Ah yes, this was the thread in which you created fake multiple accounts in order to try to win a silly internet argument against me, we all know this well. Oh but you were the one being attacked

lmao...proof please. Because I also recall the ridiculous accusation that Socialleper and I were the same poster. But I guess stupid acussations are typical of certain posters when they are butthurt and their character attacks are not working. :cough;

Just because you don't like what someone says about you, it doesn't mean that person will necessarily be punished or even warned. We can all appreciate a good comeback or witty putdown, that's why some posts which you claim "hurt my feelings" may remain uncensored. But if it gets out of hand, the poster will be cautioned. If the mods haven't noticed it, then PM them. I for one have never received a PM from Jaylan claiming an unfair post written about him. I have seen "reported" posts, but I have read them and found nothing wrong with them other than that the poster disagreed with Jaylan. But if you do complain to a mod about a post and nothing has been done, it's not because you've been ignored. It's because the mod (and often the mods together) didn't agree with you.

If anything the fact that Jaylan is still here - despite being quite possibly the most unpopular poster in SS history - and despite creating fake accounts (thereby breaking a strictly enforced rule here, and which he denied doing even though we as mods with our secret techniques knew 100% he did) is proof that the mods try to maintain a "level" playing field.

Your posting history is actually a good example ofa biased mod who does not evenly enforce forum rules. Thats all I'll say to this tripe.

But Thanks for proving me and others in this thread right by admitting that you gun for particular posters.

By all means keep your eyes on me...so that you can continue to be disappointed that posters exist here who don't blindly follow a lot of the bad advice on this site. As I always say, theres a reason a lot of the good veterans abandoned this site.

Oh wells, I guess some people are really bothered that this place cannot be a complete echo chamber.
