Let's compare winning a woman to playing poker. You're playing the game; it's you against the other guys out there.
You're looking to get the best hand in order to win the prize (woman - for fun/sex/marriage and all that shyt). You get dealt a few hands, most are ok, some pretty good, some junk... you win with some, you lose with some. The prize in these games is nothing special
"With these cards and this pot" you say to yourself "I don't care what I win. They're not great cards, the prize is nothing significant so I don't expect too much"
You're still involved some time later, you've played an intelligent game and have not invested too heavily in the cards you've been dealt. Some of your fellow players have put all their chips into the first decent looking hand they've been given and, of course, they've lost it all, left emotional wrecks by broken dreams of wealth beyond their imaginings. Morons.
Then it happens! Your luck is in!
"With these cards" you excitedly think "I've hit the jackpot! I've played the ultimate game, gotten to this point.... and now I'm sure to win! Look at the prize involved here... it's BEAUTIFUL!"
You start well. Not giving away too much, saying the right things, knowing how to play it cool. You get to the flop - fvck yeah! Thats exactly what I hoped would be dealt. This is going so well!
Then your emotions begin to betray you. You say and do things that weren't in the game plan, try as you might to keep them under control.
"No matter" you decide resolutely "I know that this pot is worth it. This is the one I've been waiting for!"
You get to the river... still looking good. Actually better. This must be a sign that you're destined to win big. You invest more money, effort, emotion and time into this one hand than you ever have before... because this one is meant to be.
Then comes the turn. Unbelievable. You feel the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. You begin to sweat. This was exactly the signal you wanted! Nothing could possibly beat you now, this one is in the bag. You already have visions of yourself living out the rest of your days in bliss whilst this game you're playing will be nothing but a hazy memory.
Except...........................................that's not the way it goes down.
You've put so much of yourself into this one hand that you didn't notice the game that was being played against you. You didnt look at your opponent. You spent so much time focussing on the cards you'd been dealt, the way you'd played and the woman you thought you'd win you assumed the chump sitting opposite you had no chance.
But look a little closer my friend.... notice anything familiar? Those eyes with sultry lashes. The way the breast moves as they slowly breathe. That lingering scent you've only just become aware of.
Familiar hey?
You have just been beaten by the opponent you least expected. The prize you were so certain of winning all along.
"Thank you sweetheart" she whispers "It's been great fun. I'll never forget you"
And like Keyser fvcking Soze, she's gone. Off with all your money, time, effort, love, passion, joy and energy. You have just learned the most valuable lesson in the whole game my friend.
Never bet it all
