In the past 70years there have been two powerful forces that have greatly influenced society. Those are Hollywood and Technology.

There was a time when Hollywood promoted strong masculine figures in their movies. John Wayne, Samuel L. Jackson, Denzel Washington, Wesley Snipes, George Clooney, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Robert Redford, etc. These were great male role models that embodied masculine traits. You don't see these types in the leading Hollywood roles like you used to.

Technology has made it so women can do things only men were once capable of. Only men used to work in factories, modern machines changed all of that. Medical technology produced the pill so women could fuhk with next to no consequences.

In the late 80's and 90's video gaming really took off. Instead of boys playing outside learning how to socialize with others, staying active, they stayed indoors staring at screens for hours on end, more isolated from the real world. Dating apps have done the same thing. Porn used to be hard to get a hold of. Now its everywhere, more extreme, and most of its video. Social Media(twitter, instagram, onlyfans, etc) hasn't helped one bit. Its a platform for women to seek free attention from males and guys are happy to oblige. 77% of influencers are female, imagine that. All of these things have led to the demise of masculinity.

Up until recently, men have controlled every segment of society. Male dominance in Hollywood, Technology, Religion, Politics, Education, etc been eroding away for years. Every thing I listed above was created and controlled by MEN. And @Gamisch Women didn't change the dating scene, men did. We invented damn near every thing on the planet. Women accepted it like the good submissive servants we always wanted them to be. Men have gotten lazy, and women keep filling the positions. Now look at the schitt storm we have created.

Men need to own up to their role that has led to their demise. As masculine males we have to bring awareness to the others that don't see it.

I have no doubts that media outlets are reluctant to broadcast shyte like this . Basically any big channel like that can invite any dating coach and let him explain these dynamics in a eli5 way, yet they refused to do that for years now .

No matter how much they're trying to hide this, its still a HUGE portion of people's lives. The whole premise of " work hard and marry a good woman " is suddenly gone. While we were trained to be like that . Men wanna take care of their loved ones ,while women wanna be independent ( and still I'm baffled that so many men give up on LIFE and their ambitions because they " don't have a woman boohoo") .

Meanwhile the people running these media outlets probably do live a rather traditional life. Even they'll have to acknowledge that..things aint going too well. Because dating is reduced to online venting, ruled by one company while nobody knows how the really operate, and 60 if not more percentage of men already kinda gave up on dating .

However, Men aren't innocent either 1 out of 3 Men ages 18-34 still live with their parents gotta be honest but if you're 32 living at home your prospects to getting a girlfriend or laid is gonna be tough (it can be done though)
Men ages 18-34 make less money than their parents made at their age
Also A lot of modern men are addicted to p0rn which kills your motivation to meet women in real life

If you are in shape, make 75K plus, have charisma you should be cleaning up.

Meanwhile a monthly subscription will cost you approximately 30 bucks. Times Hinge,bumnle, tinder, badoo, pof, lexa, happen =210 bucks a month . Needless to say i haven't done this yet, but seemingly this is entry level if you wanna be somewhat successful on the apps.

A subscription should be 5 bucks. Maybe they've made it expensive so you" rather pick one specific dating app instead of all of them".

I wouldn't say men are opting out, they are just opting out with women over 30. Any normal man would love to date a decent-looking woman with 0 kids and 0 divorces under 30. It's when the woman gets over 30 things get dicey..

Politics is downstream from culture. The politicians are talking like this because the culture is changing. The culture is changing because of websites like this and the manosphere. We are winning. Women are losing this war of attrition. We are all kind of losing though.

That discussion is a bunch of bullshiz. It attempts to say that there is a problem with men. That is not the issue.

Young men playing video games, not getting married and not “manning up“ is a logical reaction to how toxic our current feminine controlled society is to men.

Many of these young men realize there’s nothing for them to gain but much to risk by getting married, having children and participating in the current university environment that is anti-man.

There are absolutely no indications that Western societies leftist, feminine controlled anti-man system is abating. In fact, it gets worse with each passing year.

Young men are realizing that the deck is stacked against them and that the only way they win is to not play the game.

I see a lot of the younger men doing one of two things, either embracing religion or gang culture, I don't see much else happening and the time spent in gang culture is rarely a long stay, where im from a gang member on average is active for 9 months not even a year.

However I don't see the young women embracing the religion for the most part, I see a desperation to break away from it as most religions do not favor women over men.

Single Motherhood is this middling lane between religion and gang culture and that's where I see most of these women going, to a place where they can leverage the system against men to gain an advantage over them.
