2 things happened recently which brought home why we are important and what qualities we bring and how masculinity is important.

My wife is pregnant and we went to a pre-natal appointment. We had to wait a long, long time. My wife currently is puking off morning sickness and generally in pain. We were seeing lots of people turn up and get seen. So, she was not up to fighting battles, so I hastled the staff, they immediately took blood/urine and sent us back to wait 15 mins. At 25 I had a fairly strong worded discussion and they went off, and returned with a doctor.

Now, I’m 37 and I doubt I would act like this when younger and I saw a couple of dudes/women give me looks, I guess some had been waiting a long time too but had more patientce.

I’m not turning this into some alpha/beta crap but being a hostile dude who can do so without getting himself chucked out is quite useful to a pregnant woman. I stated to see the difference between “strong” and “jerk”. I can be a jerk if I want but only when it’s advantages me or my own.

I also heard her being “fobbed off” ie health service not wanting to put themselves out. She has a medical condition which makes her pregnancy need a little more support. I could tell the person who she was speaking to was just not wanting to book extra appointments (this is NHS so they don’t care, you have to drive them).

I took the phone off her and in about 2 mins we had the appointment.

Little things in the modern age, but these things are stuff a lot of women can’t do because it’s confrontational.

I know there is a “don’t fight her battles and white knight”, but she is carrying my child and she just would have rolled over and accepted less without my intervention, which is risking her, and the baby’s wellbeing and by proxy mine as well!

Really felt good when doing these things, like I just slayed an ox or fought away a tiger. In a much smaller way of course!

The NHS is absolutely terrible atm. The staff and doctors are completely overworked. Can't really blame them, but they are looking to "prioritize" wherever possible (fob people off). Need to be strong handed and vigilant with them.
Not only that, but the insurance companies don't want to spend any money, so they will actually override doctor's decisions for a less expensive approach. Plus if you aren't getting your health insurance through your work, it's crazy expensive. US Health Care is totally screwed up, unless you are a multimillionaire and can afford to just pay for everything yourself.

As for the value of men, maybe it looks more questionable in the current society. But men have really been the movers and shakers of the world throughout history, we've built the vast majority of civilization and scientific and technological breakthroughs. In life, we are strong and we get things done. But in the dating market, females have the advantage.

That's an interesting cultural difference.

Thing is here that this structure was built after world war 2 and is a complete game changer. Entire elections are won and lost over it.

Nobody saw that we'd have an open border to the entirety of Europe. And whilst that has been very good to my penis, it's been generally tougher on my general health.

Mass immigration and socialism equals catastrophic mismanagement.

We're sorting it though. We are a badarse people generally.
Totally agree on all counts.

The thing about the British, is we are very, very tolerant. Way more than most of Europe and beyond. However, once we’ve had enough, we’ve had enough.

I admire the American attitude which is much more honest and confrontational - people seem to say what they mean more.

On the NHS, I work in financial services and the pay in a lot of roles is ridiculous.

GPs are on a package of about £150k all told.

Most consultant and surgeons are multi millionaires at 35.

Even nurses, some are on a good £50-£100 k when you factor in the incredible pension.

The NHS will always eat money because the people running it set the salaries. Then when your kid is sick and dying it’s about “funding being too low”

Few people in the NHS get fired for mistakes. You basically just have to hope the person you see is a good sort and wants to help, because they can quite easily just not be bothered and there is absolutely nothing you can do. I suppose you could complain, but they will only respond in 8 months, 6 months after your child dies.

I’m not knocking all of it, but the NHS cannot survive.

Also, 50% of the people in my maternity clinic were not speaking English. I did wonder how much they’ve paid in versus my several hundred thousand. Yet, I wait in line with them. Makes you mad. Can’t wait to leave EU.

I mean, my wife is foreign but she at least speaks English, and married me. She didn’t uproot from Poland with her family and just turn up

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Agreed on both counts, but with the former, how long will you have the latter?

On a related note, I recently read a great WW1 novel written from the German perspective: Storm of Steel. It was written by a grunt that rose through the ranks. He often mentions how brave and tough the English were, as well as the Scottish and Indians. Spoke very disparagingly of the French.
