One more note, apparently the trademark owner is Jason Claiborne. He has his book on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/How-Speak-Wom@nese-Decoding-Message/dp/1425949959
(notice the @ symbol)

If to Mr. Claiborne the key to successful relationships is semantics of communication then he's on par with Dr. John Gray (who does not actually hold a PhD) in idiocy. By the way, the book is self-published.

Man, this guy is annoying. He sued Tucows.com over their domain jase.net for trademark violation simply because he has a trademark for JASE, his bottled water company since 1989. The Tucows domain was registered two years before the Claiborne trademark was registered. Tucows should have sued Claiborne for a trademark violation.

Claiborne also has a website, www.jasonclaiborne.com, which is no longer functional. Hmmm... so with a failing self-published book (ranked #600,000-something on Amazon.com), a failed lawsuit, a failed domain, and probably a failed bottled water company, it appears I was right about Mr. Claiborne's "Take that Wom@nese off Sosuave!" as desperation. He had flimsy basis for his previous lawsuit and he still has flimsy basis for his current threats. He sent a cease & desist letter to a Christian-based forum for simply mentioning Wom@nese.

Damn, he's desperate. I wonder if his legal desperations have any correlation to his personal life.

I'd sue those pricks too if I bothered to expend the resources...

Irrelevant. The WIPO rules are quite clear. The rights of IP owners prevail over what I consider the criminal actions of domain squatters and domain resellers. Many domain squatters use Tucows to bulk register thousands and thousands of domain names as hostages. Those whose IP rights are not recognized by national or international law are forced to pay $10,000 USD or more for a domain name. Most domain squatters are actually located in the Cayman Islands. I wish the U.S. government would shut those pricks down. And it's fairly easy to do, too. It's just as easy as isolating any country from accessing the Internet outside their geographical borders.

They would have if they could. Registering a domain name is not the equivalent of a registering trademark rights.
